I'm just amazed that GM doesn't see this as a problem. You'd think they'd have fixed this by the '08 model year ... but they just made them worse. :nonod:

Maybe GM should stick to building gliders, and let the customers choose the driveline. I'd probably buy another GM again if that were the case! :)

I heard BMW is now telling V8 M car owners that "when it says it needs a quart, add two". I'm they burn oil so fast I doubt you would even need to change the oil.

Not surprised. Gotta love the 21st Century way of quality control, & customer satisfaction!

It's so friggin easy to build an engine that doesn't use a DROP of oil! I've been doing it since I was 16 years old!! :nonod: That's just unacceptable on so many levels ...

Just reminded me I forgot to look up that tranny cooler you got there. That's a sweet one.

Well, my engine is probably going to grenade in the next year or 2 ... or sooner, so I should be saving for that first ... Such a downer ... :nonod:

Got off work and my buddy and I did a quick inspection of my truck in the parking lot, then did a road test. We've concluded that the tires are most likely the reason I have shakes/shimmies while driving. Some of the tires have bulges on the sidewalls. Left front is probably the worst. So now I get to see how and if I can get them warrantied by Michelin. Also stopped by my rental property and had them double check the tires real quick and took a better look at the bay doors I'm going to need to replace. Also dropped off my 12T jack stands at storage to get them out of the garage since they are too tall to use easily on my truck. In about an hour or so I'll be driving to the other side of town to go to a baby shower.

Ordered some Wagner brake rotors for the front of the truck yesterday, the Powerstop rotors must have gotten messed up from the junk calipers I had on before.

Hauled $42.50 in singles from auction. Also have about 90 gallons of fuel aboard.
