Traded the Sierra in...

I just wanted to thank everyone on this site for the information and the knowledge that I got from the other members on this site. I built my truck up pretty nice and it was because of the information on this forum. I traded in my 2010 Sierra 1500 for a Ram 2500 Mega Cab Cummins. I can post pics for anyone that is interested, I know you like pics here lol, but i can't take any until Sunday, working until then. So my Autocal is for sale, I posted it in the for sale section.

Good luck with your Ram. I have a friend who has a 06 Mega Cab. He's had great luck with his. Hope no one gets lost in the back seat. There's really a LOT of room back there. Congratulations. Hope she gives you many miles!

I am leaning towards a mega cab cummins, for the space and a cummins for pulling a 40' toy hauler, I know my 8.1 would do it..Its just

the 2-3 mpg i would get doing it!

Congrats on the new truck! Only knock I heard of with the mega cabs was the AC wasn't strong enough (models 2008-2010 I think).

Thanks guys, so far the only regret i have id not buying it sooner. There are so many things that the designers thought of, probably one of the simplest things that surprised me was the lighted center console. There is a tiny light that shines from the ceiling to light up the console, it is so dim that me and the wife for 2 days thought it was the radio somehow lighting it up. Oh and some genius engineer put a switch for the cargo light, who would have thought to do that? lol Ill be getting pics tomorrow.

What is everyone's obsession with a cargo light switch? I'd rather have it come on when the door is opened, it makes more sense. Especially since the cab light stays on for a while after the door is shut. So you don't even have to turn it off when you're done. JMO from driving a truck that has it on an independent switch.

I like that i can check my cargo while driving down the road without the inside light coming on.
