2007 GMC Sierra Denali Centerpoint Radio Replacement

So, I now have the "old" truck, according to my teenagers. They have been busting my chops that my nav is outdated, has no Bluetooth and no backup camera, which, they say, doesn't matter because I only listen to the news anyway.

 

All right folks, it's time to take action, but I need your help. I have spoken with the dealership and they redirected me to an after-market audio shop, who wants to rip everything out and rebuild from scratch. I'm not interested in doing that, or being without my vehicle for the time required.

 

I am looking for a factory fit, centerpoint supporting unit that will maintain my existing features (rear audio, steering wheel controls, XM, etc.) and add Bluetooth, a Backup Camera, and iPod/iPhone "stuff". I bought a Rosen Car Show from Crutchfield but it does not support the centerpoint system.

 

Your help is greatly appreciated.

there is a new rosen/car show piece coming out that does suppor centerpoint.

 

the item number is CS-GM1210-US, and it should be available through crutchfield shortly.

 

if you bought your original rosen piece within the past 60 days through crutchfield, you should be able to exchange it pretty easily for this new item, which should be available through them in the next few days.

What's centerpoint, I got the ogm1 its pretty awesome the camera is great as well. Search on here about it, Walt helped me out with mine its plug and play. Your teenagers say you have an "old" truck? They sound like they are spoiled LOL.

 

ADVENT updates the ogm1 regularly I also own a Kenwood 9990hd in my sunfire which is Garmin, but the ogm1 Bluetooth is better and overall I like the ogm1 interface

it's an all-digital signal processing system developed by Bose used in some factory audio systems. from Bose's website:

Get the new 2012 Navigation radio from Greg at CPS Audio and it will fit right in and everything will work. Plug and Play with the supplied adaptor cables. Call Greg and get all the details. He will need your VIN and can supply you with a back up camera kit too.

Mine works great with my centerpoint system, I could not be happier. The OMG1 is nice and has some very good points but in my opinion this is better. I have owned both.

By the way this new 2012 Nav system is hard drive based and has a bunch of other features that other radios do not have.
