Chris Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I'll take a 4wd over a 6.0 if it came down to itTheres no need
muddkatt Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Ha. My 2006 has them. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk Hell, my 2001 has them and they put out lots of cold air according to the rear passengers.
00Silverado4x4 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I'll take a 4wd over a 6.0 if it came down to it Fortunately I was able to get both with the "new" truck...
Daryl LBZ Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Fortunately I was able to get both with the "new" truck... I almost had a 6.0, but I was being cheap at the time.

white1500 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I almost had a 6.0, but I was being cheap at the time.Resource allocation. .. maybe instead of the wheels for the Cruze you could have used that money for the 6.0?
Daryl LBZ Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Resource allocation. .. maybe instead of the wheels for the Cruze you could have used that money for the 6.0? That would have helped, but the Cruze needed tires anyway since GM put junk on them from the factory.
white1500 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 In a lapse of judgement it looks like we forgot to lock the Versa last night and someone rifled through it. Fortunately they didn't damage or take anything as far as I can tell, not even the detachable aftermarket stereo. That goes to show that it doesn't matter where you live, this sh*t can happen anywhere. And although this time we're in a much better area the common factor is that there's always a ghetto group of people living in the complex, I can't even imagine how they're paying rent here. I know that i shouldn't judge anyone but they were the first ones to come to my mind. I feel anger and pity for whoever has to resort to this scumbag activity. That POS doesn't have a clue as to how hard I have worked to get where I am.

white1500 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I stumbled upon these Continental LX20's that have impressive reviews and test scores and now I'm tempted to leave the Michelin man for the very first time on this truck. I need a dependable quality tire that can be a jack of all trades and handing out close to a thousand dollars for the LTX MS might not be worth it with such little use. $550 for all four + installation I don't go off roading, mudding, and don't live in snowy or icey regions. The majority of my use is on road but might throw in dirt trails or snow once every blue moon.
Chris Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 They are an all season and low rolling resistance. So they will be a hard compound.
