Direct TV has a competitive service now, competes more with Vue, but I haven't heard if you need a static IP or not(Vue does and that is its downside)

Every month. But the reason I stay here is the sunshine and my cost of living is based out of San Jose. $3600 for a housing allowance, prorated of course. But payments aren't always on time and proration means I won't see 100%

Ugh same here with the payments. They told me back in March that all I'd have to do was fill out the proper paperwork every two weeks, send it in and I'd get paid. I send them everything they ask for, haven't missed a day of class etc and they still can't pay me correctly. I got paid almost two weeks ago now, but they paid me one week instead of two. Every time I try and call to get it straightened out I can't get a hold of anyone. A few days ago their phones were down, today I didn't call in on time before they closed. Last month I faxed them my paperwork to get paid a total of 5 times and they still didn't get it, they had to take my questions over the phone. It's ridiculous.

I have to call the PA Careerlink every 3 months and talk to someone about how I'm doing, and send back a paper. Every month I have to have an attendance sheet filled out by the school and send it to the Careerlink along with another paper that I have to fill out. Then every two weeks to get paid I have to fill out a paper for my TRA and send it in, and the school has to fill something out online at that same point as well.

Most schools have a VA rep that deals with that stuff. The system for the VA is just backed up. And I only get paid once a month if they do decided to not split my payment

Wow. I don't know why they offer these types of programs if they can't do what they promise in a timely manner.
