Nothing is done logically, or efficiently on the civilian side of it. Just look at the post office .. or Amtrak ..

Post office is not government owned.

I should say not completely govt ran. It is owned by them, but they are completely independent

It is surprising how inefficient the Government runs things when you think about it. For example, now that I've been learning about IT, and then I use something related to that dealing with the government I just wonder to myself how anyone could have thought it was a good idea to set something up like that.

Not completely. The Treasury has taken the private retirement money(think 401K or Roth) from postal workers accounts to help fund the government, (promised to pay it back), but there was an article I read recently about how now that the Congress didn't get any new Board members on the postal board, who hires and fires the Postmaster general, and all the board member terms have expired, the Postmaster General is literally unaccountable. NO ONE can get rid of her, not even the president. Whoops, someone messed up in those laws

My Cruze is running like crap, and acting up exactly like last time when it ate an ignition coil. That happened like 20k miles ago.

WTF! Sorry to hear that.

Man, we're getting annihilated by CRAP quality parts here!! Hope things change pretty soon. It's getting aggravating. Lost count of how many returns I had to make this year, all due to chinese garbage parts with quality brand names on the boxes.

Yep both of my purge valves are Chinese made first one didn't even make it 6 months

My buddy with the '10 Camaro SS bought a pair of high-dollar, push-button exhaust cutouts last year - figured since they were stainless, had a guillotine-style gate, and cost a pile of money, they'd last a long time.

They both stopped working after just 6 months .. AND, the car never sees rain or road salt. :nonod:

I've never seen a vehicle that needs new spark plugs about every 20k miles either. It seems like once they get around that mileage the car starts running like crap. Re-gapping them doesn't seem to help either.

I have some work to do while I'm off of school for the Holiday break. I just ordered a complete brake line kit from Rock Auto for the woman's Cobalt. I have to install those, flush her antifreeze, brake fluid, and change her transmission fluid. Not sure if I'll get my steering stabilizer installed on the truck or not.

I was ruled at fault and started ordering parts and working. Probably won't get everything until February. Even then I won't paint

I just bought all new living room furniture. It has crazy stuff I didn't know about when I paid. I thought I was just buying a couch, but it has a built in hidden tray, speakers, bluetooth and basically dome lights.

I sat down for like 10 seconds and was ready to pay, fit like a glove to me, and my joints and muscles kinda went "aaahhhhh". Why....who needs a bluetooth couch. Ridiculous. And now I own one.

I don't envy your bill on that piece!

Its by far not the most expensive thing there(the store), the highest sofa price was $4,998. And that one probably retails for 6-7k. In fact for the price the speakers probably suck. And like I said, I sat down and didn't want to get up, my back was very happy. My wife wanted one that reclines(I didn't really, but I guess it doesn't hurt). Didnt want a power one either. I think speakers and bluetooth is stupid on a couch, doubt I will ever use them, I have a nice home theater sound system, so no point. Yeah, it was that comfy. I doubt people much bigger than me would find it that way since as you can see the seats are semi contoured.
