2000 Silverado Gibson Exhaust Question

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. 5.3L LS Extended Cab

 

I have been looking at some Gibson Dual Extreme's.

 

It says I have to remove my spair for this to fit....

 

Anyone know if this is correct? Thanks

My guess would be for dual exhaust you'd have to remove it, for single you wouldn't. Those are expensive exhausts for what you get.

If you don't want to remove the spare look into a different system. I have a bed mounted spare because my winch fell off

Some websites say the spare must be removed, and others do not. Frustrating...
