I know a lot of people who call their four wheelers bikes. Between quad bike, dirt bike, pedal bike, and motorcycle bike it gets confusing lol.

Easy Mr technical it doesn't matter

10 speed dual range, 1985 dual port, coolant channel lined heads (extremely rare)

been 9 years, nickels and dimes.

Does not get driven much..

40+ pounds of mig wire to get it to hold the build.

I am actually not a fan of subaru..bought one DL in 1997 to be economical. A lot of parts accrued..

decided to build the ultimate for the generation. Found the 1 year paint code dual range wagon for $500. I quickly learned via an explosive thermite type event on one engine: None can do turbo.

So I bought the toughest rarest turbo engine from 1985, and dismantled it to be natural 10.2 to 1 compression.

sodium head choking turbo exhaust valves removed for a lighter weight free flowing.

ported heads only where casting anomoly.

upgraded bolts to double foot pounds for cams.

I also found not a single one of these alloy heads had valve spring seats, and made some from hardened steel.

full hydraulic lift, loyale cams...

rochester 280cfm, msd ignition digital program

A comical turning point... adding a double progressive air intake tube like a porsche gt3. it sucks in so much air so fast, it will not proper run without it.

This one does not have a quiet moment ever. Antique status protects it.

Funny to think it is hardly worth anything.

A broken frame pickup sells for more.

5 main bearings go great with a million mile 305 vortec...subarus past 1989 do not float my boat.

I only like the old stuff.

The Carrera has upgraded turbos and is mostly driven on road course tracks ..... awesome in the slaloms. The Viper on the other hand has too much power and is more fun to take the weekend ride with my wife.

My wife's 2012 V ....... best sedan we've ever owned. Wife says "hands off" so I don't get to modify it .... yet. The day she bought it. Had to visit her folks and give her 70 year old Dad a ride. LOL, that was fun!

My pride & joy the day I picked her up from the dealer.

Been trying to sell her for a few months, but the market is really slow. I may just end up keeping her. Really fun car to drive.

The E46 .......... back when the car was built "around" the driver ........ now the driver has to learn the car. Ugh

Beautiful ride! GLWS
