I have found this fabtech 6" GEN II lift kit, here is the part numbers:

FTS21172 , FTS21170 and Coilover spacers FTS21171.

The question is do I need the $150 coilover spacers? I'm willing to install 315/70R17 tires on Factory 17" wheels.

I don't like cuttings/trimmings, only bolts on kit.

Help me because I'm noob!

How many inches do you need to clear the roof? You could find a set of 33" tires to run while at college and keep 35s for summer and not have to mess with suspension. An aggressive 33 might not look too bad

That might be a good idea, although I swore to never put 33's under my lift it might be the cheapest/smartest option. I just need a few extra inches to account for uneven paving of the garages. Thanks for the suggestion!

Zoomiejr2 I have that set up and have no complaints. 6.2 3.23 4 wheel drive with 35x12.5 20s. Plenty of power!

If the highway surface is flat it seems to hold overdrive. i have not driven much on the open highway though, I spend more time on the freeways in and around the Houston area. There are a lot of overpasses and it will kick down going up an overpass.

I really like that. That is a sharp looking truck.

Appreciate it! I'm very happy with how they turned out. Just need to figure out how to take care of the rubbing now.

I'm tried going through the thread and I may have overlooked it. I'm wanting to put on 35x12.5x18 on a -12 offset rim. Will these clear on the Rough Country 5" lift?

Just finished up my lift with wheels and tires. Also took off the air dam and assist steps.

Not usually a fan of yellow, but the black wheels with yellow paint looks pretty dang sharp.

Gonna say you fellas are hurting this guys feelings. I'm to far away from my home and already miss my truck, and it's one good looking truck after another.
