Nice!! Did your RC kit widen your front track width or did it stay the same. I'm running a bds kit & thinking of running 12" wide as well but still unsure of fitment. I don't mind trimming/cutting the rear, I just don't want to cut the bumper.

Widened slightly, needed very minimal trimming to the lower valance.

Ok...hoping someone has had experience with this. I have a 3-month old 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 with 1200 miles on it. I had the 6" lift put on about 6 weeks ago with 500 miles on it. Today, I'm driving down the road and the traction control and abs lights come on the dash. It says that I need to service Stabilitrak and ABS. I checked the cables in the front to make sure nothing is stretched out or disconnected...everything looks fine. I've driven it a couple of times since, the lights have remained on.

I did go over a speed bump at about 40mph yesterday (didn't see it), but this didn't seem like it was a big deal at the time. Also, the steering wheel lock seemed to have trouble engaging twice today after I parked and shut it off. Strange, but again, nothing serious. I baby this truck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is an update on this. My Superchips reader would not pick up the codes and neither would the code reader at the local parts store. I did take the truck back to the shop that did the lift and their reader did get the code. It was something about right, front wheel speed sensor giving erratic readings. They reset the codes and went for a test drive. The ABS and Stabilitrak dash messages came back on the test drive. After they cleared the codes again, I made an appointment with GM. However, I had to cancel my appointment because I can't get the problem to repro since I left the shop...its been a week and 1/2.

If it happens again, I will setup an appointment with GM. Very strange that it came right back on the test drive and now won't come back after 1 1/2 weeks.

abs sensor, i think its around $40-50 or so, check to see if it's damaged.

Had the Zone 6.5" lift installed on my truck yesterday. This are the best pics I have at the moment. I still have my trail grappler 33's on right now...they don't look as small as I thought they would so I may keep them for a couple months then get 35's.

Will someone with a Zone 6.5" lift and aluminum control arms please post a pic of your upper ball joint? Had my kit installed yesterday and the upper ball joints are not seating all the way. I am thinking they may have sent me the steering knuckles for the steel control arms even thought the box they were in was for the aluminum. Here is a pic of what the upper ball joint looks like.

Still curious if anyone else's upper ball joint looks like this with this lift. Would really appreciate it if someone could take a look or post a pic.

Just to provide an update on this for anyone interested...I sent an email to Zone and they responded immediately. Here is what they said:

"Thanks for choosing Zone Offroad. This is normal and ok as long as you have threads going all the way through the nut on the underside. I hope this info helps."

Does anyone else hear a rubbing kind of noise in the steering after lifting your truck? Mine has one and it used to only be during a hard turn hitting an incline but now it's anytime I turn the wheel at low speed (<10mph)

It's not the wheels hitting the liner or anything, it's definitly in the steering cause I've gotten under the truck while a friend turned the wheel side to side and I traced it

I can't say that I've experienced that problem. I do know persistent noises are not to be ignored. I would get it to a shop if it were my truck.

Would it be possible for you to take a shot down the side so I can see how far they stick out? This is the same setup I am looking to get, but am unsure of how far they will stick out.

I will try and get a good picture this afternoon when the rain clears out. I did measure and they stick out 2.75" from the body. If I had it all to do over again I would go with 20x9 wheels and 5" backspace. This should prevent it from rubbing like mine does on the back side of the outer fender. I had to do some trimming on the metal for fitment.

Alright question of the day...

I know that a 35/12.5R20 fits on a stock wheel with a 6'' lift, but will a 37"?
