I hope it rides better than stock lol. I've got the "chevy shake" and this things rides like crap. I was hoping getting new tires would help it out some. Dealership already did the transmission software update, so I don't know if it's bad tires (been road force balanced) or the TC.

I just bought a 2018 and had 2 tires replaced almost immediately because of a 'shake', all 4 were road force balanced.  Still have a shake, but now its a high frequency shake like it's the driveshaft or driveline.

Probably going to take it back soon and see what they say.

*EDIT* They replaced the LF and RR tires because they couldn't get them to road force balance.  It took the 'hop' feel out of the truck but now I have a rhythmic, pulsing vibration.  I'm curious to find out what, if anything resolves your issue.

I’m heading in next week for an oil change and a list of stuff to check (mostly transmission clunking while downshifting) but I’ll let you know if they fix any of them

I hadn't read any of this when I bought the truck.  I have a pretty good relationship with the Service Writer I deal with and I thought he had lost his mind when I took it in for what I thought was tires out of balance and he was checking the transmission software and torque converter out.  That tells me he's well aware of *something* going on so when I go back we're going to figure it out or figure out how to make it right.

I plan on putting a 6" lift on this truck but I won't touch it until this issue gets straightened out or I get a truck that doesn't shake.

Exactly I’m not doing anything until it’s fixed, but in saying that, this is the last time I have it looked at (this will be trip #3). Next will be a ram 1500

I can live with that.

Just passed 100k on my 14 Silverado, and 50k miles on the BDS lift and Toyo RT tires.   Knock on wood, but I've been very pleased with the lift and the tires.

Can anybody share some recommendations or wheel/tire setups to run with a 2.5” Rough country leveling lift?

I am going crazy trying to figure out a setup I can run without rubbing or trimming much. Would like a slightly aggressive stance, no more than 1” outside the wheel well.

Id run a quality tire such as nitto, toyo, or bfg, not a lot of those cheap tires that are out
