My 2010 Sierra has 66,000 on it, since putting my can on there and draining it last weekend after 2500 miles on the oil change I pulled about an ounce out of my can.

That would be about right. I got total of a couple of shot glasses worth of oil in my Jegs unit at around 3000 miles on it, before switching over to the Conceptual Polymer unit. Of course, I had to dump the Jegs unit frequently, as the capacity is not very large. The CP unit will make it so that I can wait to dump at oil change.

Cowpie, lets see a pic of that CP unit. Which unit did you end up going with? I was looking at the 2" aluminum one because I like that size and it might fit the mike norris mount.

I opened my can for the first time today. It has been approximately 1500 miles with 1 trip of hauling 1600 lbs of payload about 25 miles. The can caught just over 1 teaspoon of oil. The oil was a dark brown but not black and smelled like motor oil.

I am happy with this result. It seems the catch can is working but my truck is not vaporizing a ton of oil. This is fact seems to be confirmed by the other fact that my truck is not consuming any oil.

I plan on not opening the can again for another 3,000 miles at least. I will post here again when I do.

I have the Mike Norris catch can mounted just below the alternator. So Far, I like it

Decided to change my oil today. Have 6150 miles on the oil and the PCV catch can. Here is a pic of the oil it has caught in that time. The oil level was down at the first notch below full, which would equate to about 1/2 pint of oil got used. From this picture, I know where a lot of that oil went.

Appx 3500 miles since I drained last time. Seemed pretty watery. I assume because of the cold temps the last 2 months

Yeah, the winter months have made what I am catching more watery. That is primarily why the chocolate milk looking stuff in the shot glasses I posted. I was pouring everything I caught into a used drinking water bottle and it was mixing. What's great is that, whether oil or condensation, we are getting that nasty crap out of there before it makes the intake.

3500 miles on that oil? My God that's clean. What are you using for oil? My Mobil 1 is dark when I change it between 3-4000 mile.

That's what was in my catch can not what came out of my oil pan. It's a combination of water (condensation) and oil.
