Finally the z71 package looks good. GM needs to do what fx4 did for Ford. It appears they did it or getting close.

You should remove the front bumper plastic air dam. Definitely gives the truck a more off-road look!

I removed the front dam on my 08, was going to drive this one like this for awhile as I am curious what benefit it provides in fuel mileage. Thanks for all the compliments fellas! This truck drives and handles like a dream and the boys love the extra room in the back. My brother in law has a Sierra lined up, so I will also keep u up to speed on that truck as well.

Great truck...wheels kill it IMO. Too much rake as well with the rear block.

I like both the stock rims and the aftermarket ones. Great truck! Leave the damn air dam ON. It is there for a reason and that reason is not just looks.

Looks good man. As long as you like it, then thats all that matters. ENJOY YOUR TRUCK!!! The airdam is good for a 1/10 of a mpg. Guess it adds up, but I plan to take mine right off so I can clear the average curb haha. Still love seeing rake comments. Its a truck, its supposed to have rake so that it is level when it is being used as a TRUCK!!! Id rather have my truck level when hauling then having the rear sagging and front aiming up, but hey, maybe thats just me. Anywho, good job!

The front air dam is there for a reason. GM doesn't spend millions of dollars in wind tunnel testing for nothing. They have the fit and finish of your truck down to a science. When you start removing or adding exterior parts you screw with the airflow which can impact MPG, wind noise, etc.. It's a lot different today when compared to trucks 20 years ago.

But at the end of the day, it's your truck, and you can remove the fenders if you want.

When you start removing or adding exterior parts you screw with the airflow which can impact MPG, wind noise, etc.. It's a lot different today when compared to trucks 20 years ago.

But at the end of the day, it's your truck, and you can remove the fenders if you want.

GM adds garbage like the airdam and AFM to gain a fraction of a mpg on the bogus EPA test cycles. Both are long gone on my truck and efficiency hasn't changed one bit, nor has it for anyone here who has done the same.
