J.Wilhelm Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Finally have been able to add custom wheels and tires to my Sierra. My SLE came with 17" wheels IMO way too small for this size truck. Finally looks the way I imagined a new truck should. Fuel Maverick D537 20x9" +20 offset with Toyo A/T II 305/50R20 XL (load rated 120 speed S). These are not LT Tires and save weight and ride very smooth. The center caps haven't been installed waiting for the correct lug nuts. Pics:
Crooks Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Here ya go. Thanks alot your truck looks great. What did you tint your tail lights with? how many coats? I am ready tint mine. I have a white truck and dont want them super dark and would like to keep the tail and brake lights as bright as possible but just take the red out when they are off if that makes sense.

Pics: I have the same fuel maverick wheels but I went with 20x10 2-piece wheels with the gloss black instead of flat black. where are your center caps they are missing?
OnderaSierra Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Looks great man one of the best yet....how hard was the body lift install I had a friend of mine who does body work do the install for me so I can't say for sure. He did say that it took him longer than expected (~8 hrs) and was a pretty tough job considering the bumper removal.
Northern Sierra Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Finally got all the mods on (for now). I did the rough country 3.75 inch combo kit (2.5 inch leveling kit with the 1.25 inch body lift). Also went with Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 275/65/20 on the stock rims. Absolutely love how it turned out. What do you measure from the ground to wheel well front and back?

Shop didn't have the correct locking lugs at the time (Too Long) I've since gone back and had the correct lugs installed and center caps are now on the wheels.

That is the exact set up I am going to look at getting in the Spring. Do you think you would have rubbing issues if you would have went with a 0 offset wheel?
Tlarose Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) Put in an RC 2" level on my truck last night, already noticing my gas mileage took a decent beating. I was getting 8.5 - 10 L/100km, now it's 10 - 13 L/100km (highway). I Don't think it will be worth the money in gas over years of having it(kit) on, even though it does make the truck look a lot better. Edited October 4, 2014 by Tlarose
jonny24 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 If it makes you feel better I get 13 with it all stock.

hodges25 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 2" RC level with 305/50r20 terra grapps, rubs sway bar at full lock turning left only. Only have some iPhone pics now, gotta clean her up soon. Can't beat the 305 width though..... 2
Archaic2021 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Having a hard time deciding between rcx 2" front level or the whole 2.5" front and rear. I have 3.08 gears so I won't be going with a big tire and all, but def is slammed into the dirt
timstruck Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Hey guys.. sorry if this is a rookie mistake.. Any how-to vids or step by step instructions on the leveling kits? i took a quick glance around and didnt see one. I havent decided which kit I want to go with yet, but I would like to do it myself. (novice in the garage) thanks, and sorry in advance if i posted in the wrong area. I know how that ruffles "some" feathers
