fuse36 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Well hell when using their search engine i was putting 2014 gmc and all that came up was the 7000MT, if the quicklift loaded fits the 2014 chevy LTZ 4WD it should very well fit the 2014 GMC SLT 4WD should it not?for some reason they say if your truck came with rancho shocks it won't fit. Did yours? My understanding it will fit z71 but won't give a full 2" lift. I could be wrong. A local company that lifts trucks is installing mine Wednesday. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

DanielAcosta Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 http://zoneoffroad.com/bad-to-the-bone?id=825 If you have not seen this I was looking at the 72 pages and found this on the zone site. 14 1500 with 2in level 35/12.5/20's Would love to know if this works in the real world. Tried to respond to your message but couldn't get it to work. Regarding my truck: No blocks in back, 2.5 inch lift in front that was dealer installed before I bought it, so I don't know what brand it is. Tire size is in my signature block on all my posts. Good luck with yours.

Sjjr613 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I finally got my tires in from tire rack and my motofab 2" level blocks in that I picked up for 39.99 on amazon. got the blocks installed alone in a little under 2 hours last Wednesday night, and got the 275/70/18 general grabber at2's mounted and the truck aligned up Friday morning. Really happy with how everything turned out. Didn't think it would look lifted but its very notable. Much more than I expected. I like the firmer ride and it actually feels like a solid truck to me now. I also removed the front air dam and coated the wheels with plasti as protection for the winter. Would like to see a side pic of ur truck with the black rims.

fuse36 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I highly doubt the leveling kit has to do with your truck hoping all over the place. If the Rancho Shocks are stiffer then the stock ones in will probably make your issue worse. no I pull a trailer 5 days a week. Only does it when I pull because front is raised so much because of spacer. Just FYI Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
fuse36 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Spacer or Longer strut is the same......no difference we will see. I'll be doing a review under my other thread. My last 2014 silverado I had leveling kit and air bags in rear. Still hoped in the front while pulling trailer only when I hit a bump. So going more expensive route by replacing whole strut and still giving it a level look. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk

Whiskey Bent Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 I misread your post but the plasti info is there for anyone who needs it ha. I only have one other picture of my truck and its in my garage at an angle. Ill take a few side shots soon. Truck looks great man! Thanks for the info on the plasti dip 1
fuse36 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 So the front is hopping off the ground when towing your trailer? Have you checked the tongue weight and are you using a load leveling hitch? when I would tow before a leveling kit it never hoped. Problem is I like the look of it level but when u tow it's not level anymore. It's not that bad. I'm not saying it just hope everywhere. Just doesn't feel safe when I hit a bump or go off road without a trailer. Just looking for something more durable besides a $65 RC kit that I have. Want something that is not going to wear all my other components so that's why I have chose rancho quicklift loaded. Like I've said. I'm getting it installed Wednesday so we will see how it rides. They have a 30 day money back guarantee. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
BD1 Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 How is the easiest way to install the rear 2" blocks for the RC kit
Spurshot Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 The issue with any leveling method is the UCA balljoint angle of the OEM balljoint. When I installed my king shocks, I also installed Cognito UCA s with larger ball joints.
Aldila Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 http://www.cognitomotorsports.com/boxed-uni-ball-upper-control-arm-kit.html Are these the cognito arms you installed?

I likely will for added assurance but it would definitely be down the road.
