I've had my truck on stands for a week over a couple things that went wrong, but It's on the wheels this morning and I'm heading to the alignment shop.

I picked up these King shocks from a member here (plus the rears). After some thought, I bought some Rough Country upper control arms to ensure the balljoint travel was adequate.

Last Sunday, I started this work to install the Kings and RC UCAs. After messing around to get the RC UCAs to fit, it became apparent, the front tube of the UCA was going to rub on the frame, no matter how much I ground off the frame. Poor design. More on that later.

I got on the phone last Monday to Cognito up in Bakersfield and ordered their UCAs. I called RC and got a return authorization.

I finished up late lastnight. I was trying to install the new Hellwig front bar, but ran out of gas and tossed it in the bed to take to the alignment shop to install.

I'll post on the ride later.

Very nice. How are those brakes working out? Better than stockers I hope. I am considering upgrading mine this summer or next.

The brakes are great. Definitely a great benefit for large tires.

It'll get you 2" of lift, but it's physically only like an inch thick…

Any rubbing? ?

Slight rub on the sway bar at full lock. But was nothing the a 1/4" wheel spacer couldn't solve. Now there is plenty of room.

Put a Hellwig front swaybar on and it won't rub. Theres a slight difference for the better on the Hellwig bar. To hell with the spacer. Move forward, not backward.

Yeah they are awesome come in with 20/32s of tread depth. I ran 35x12.50 on my 2008 f150 crew for 36,000 and stil had 12/32s but I did rotate religiously. They ride great. A hell of a lot smother and quiter the the nitto mud grapplers I had on my silverado and Tahoe. Edited by JASLAR12002
