I've read this whole thread and have gotten some great info, so thank you for that. My question is two-fold, I'm going to add a MotoFab 1.5" leveling kit to the front. My 2015 Silverado has the stock 17 inch wheels on it. With this leveling kit, and what are the largest size tires I can run with that leveling kit and keeping the stock 17 inch wheels? I've seen a lot of answers for the 18 inch wheel, just nothing for the 17 inch wheels.

Clearance shot of 285/70-17 Terra Grappler G2's. Stock 17" rims. I'm leveled in the front. I've never had any rubbing even flexed in the mountains. This is without holding back the fender liner at all.

I talked with rough country yesterday for everyone that's running a 2" level and 17s. They say you can safely run a 17x9 with a backspace of 5.5-6.0 and an offset of +12-+25 And 285/70/17 Tires.

The tires are Atturo Trail Blade 275/65/18 and the wheels are Strada Off Road Monster Wheels 18x9 with a 0 offset, The tires stick about 1/2" out of the fenders.

Have any more pics? Down the side ? I really like how the tires stick out just a little its perfect

If you go with the front 2.5" level only, it will be completely level or very close.

 

If you want to see what your truck would look like with a 2.5" front level only and 275/70/18 on those wheels, just look at my gallery as it is exactly what I'm running right now.

Can you show me some pics of your ride? I'm new to this and you said view gallery to someone else and I can't find one

Is there enough stud length to run a 1/2" spacer behind the factory wheels? I'm looking at the readylift hub centric spacers for the front. It says they are required for thier 4" kit when using factory wheels, so I'm guessing they will work.

 

I'll be running 295/55/20 toyo extreme AT2s with stock All Terrain wheels and I know they will rub the a-arms.

This was it with the 2.5" front level and before I installed the 1.5" body lift. No blocks in the rear.

**update** just order them.....Rancho has there 60th anniversary rebate get a $126 back on a visa gift card when order front and rears....

Ordered mine on Sunday morning will be delivered tomorrow. I'll be installing on Saturday. I think I got the wrong rear part number I ordered RS9000XL Part # RANRS999198. I think it may need to be Part # RANRS999197????

No rs999198 is the right part number. If you go to rancho website and look in the catalog it fits 2007-2013 trucks with stock height in rear which fit 2014 trucks.

Easy fix. Just do what I did. Order a 1" spacer from eBay that mints to the lower part of the strut, in between it and the lower control arm. That way, you don't have to pull the entire strut assembly out again.

As long as I can fit 285/75-17 tires on my stock wheels I'll just use the 1.5...

I have spent 3 days reading 179 pages I think I've finally decided on a 2.5 rough country front only with stock rear block, I want to run 18" fuel maverick rims with Toyo Open Country MT and I want my tires to be wide and to stick out just a little with NO RUB what size and offset should I run? I have a few sizes in mind below

    • Update for anyone following:    Installed everything as shown in diagram. Opted for 8 AWG from Battery Positive to a 50A resettable inline breaker. 8 AWG is tied into to 2x 12 AWG wires feeding a 6 way fuse bus in parallel (manufacturer’s design of what I purchased).    4 of the 6 fuses available for circuits are tied to terminal 30 of each relay. I tied a jumper from one of my spare circuits off the bus to terminal 86 of each relay. The trigger, terminal 85, was pulled from my interior by way of T-Taps from the X61A-X5 pins 10, 11, 17 and 23. This was the hardest part of the job. Even with the X61A unbolted and the X5 removed - there was VERY little wiggle room.  I added back up lights that I want to come on with my cargo lamp - but when I would check continuity between S48A-X1 pin 18 to its respective landing point on the X61A-X5 it triggers the factory relay… Instead I opted for a add-a-fuse on the passenger interior fuse panel (fuse location 10 - cargo lamp) and ran it through the boot on the driver side to my load. Did this to avoid introducing any electrical gremlins.   Note: Please check for continuity between the S48A-X1 and the X61A-X5. In my case wire colours were not the same as other’s who have posted. To do a continuity check you need a Multimeter. Completely disassemble the S48A-X1 and remove the brown face plate off the X61A-X5 by way of a flat head screwdriver - this was the only way I could get any results.   The outputs, terminal 87 of the relays, were fed into a junction box and landed at Individual studs and were labelled Aux 1-4.    At this point, all you need to do is run wire to your loads and bring them to ground. I created a negative bus in the engine bay, all my negatives land here.    For anyone having issues with all of your new aux switch lights coming on with the press of one - I noticed this only to be an issue when the battery wasn’t hooked up to my relays? No idea why, but it was quickly corrected by having my system buttoned up and functional.     
    • Well I ordered the Autel ts508, and it won't work on my truck I tried all the 2023 and everything it just says vehicle not supported lol   I'm able to send this unit back, so I'm going to do that, then I'll just stop into a some tire shops and if none of them are able to do it, I guess ill have to spend a bunch of money to get a good scanner..... Thanks GM lol
    • Don't need the air tube but that's how everyone sells them. Most places won't remove that one piece and sell it alone. No money to be made. Hoping someone swapped theirs out for a CAI and no longer wants it. Not asking anyone to give it away. Offering to buy it but I don't need the tube. It's held on by a hex head screw and nut. Been all over eBay.
