I had a catch can on my 2011 6.2L. After catching a decent amount of oil in a small amount of time I'll never run a new engine without one.

They are a big seller and have been in the sports car market (vettes and camaros)

Here's what I did with my Elite Engineering can (that's CC-C7Black-Nickel "Good" - Elite Engineering Catch Can - 2014+ Corvette Stingray) for those looking for ideas:

Used the supplied hoses and mounting bracket--everything needed was in the box. Literally a 5 minute install, works very well. Very easy to unscrew and empty.

Only the 6.2 has the intake manifold vacuum port in this location. See my post #153 on page 11 of this thread for the 5.3 location. See post #21 on page 2 of this thread for V6 installation locations.

Ok how do I get the plug off under the throttle body? I pulled pry alittle too hard and I'm pretty sure I broke it in half. I also don't have a fitting that will snap back on so now I'm pry screwed.

It's a pain to get off. I couldn't do it but my brother in law managed to get it off. You need hose clamps to hold the new hose back on. The RX install video fails to address this. If you don't care about preserving the factory hose you could probably cut it and reuse the snap lock fittings but I wanted to be able to return it to stock if I needed to so I used hose clamps to hold the new hose in place.

That stock hose should have snap on clips that you need to compress before you pull off.
