acc412 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Thanks, i seen this vid on youtube but was unsure if it would be the same since i have a Airaid MIT With the intake, this video helps.
acc412 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 After getting my Elite and reviewing the system, i am unhappy with the hoses they have provided and the pain in the rear clamps they give (Be careful for the intake fitting as it is plastic). What should be the correct hose to use for this system?
Towerhog Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Ive got the 6.2L. I bought a new PCV hose from the dealer and carefully cut the ends off and used those ends with this hose and clamps. Works like a charm. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/102011/10002/-1 http://www.jegs.com/i/Vibrant-Performance/231/12276/10002/-1

BigBlueLB756 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 5/8" fuel/oil hose and good quality screw hose clamps will do good.
BigBlueLB756 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 You could always........ http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/152695-jegs-pcv-oil-separator/page-14?do=findComment&comment=1769889
Smoore8691 Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 Got my dual exit can and clean side separator installed on my 6.2 today. Is it normal during wide open throttle my oil pressure shoots up to 70? Once you let off oil pressure goes back to normal 40 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
acc412 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Yes I've had that happen to me on my 5.3. Have someone rev your engine while you look at the lines coming to your catch can
Smoore8691 Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Ok thanks. Yeh I've checked all my lines and everything looks to be hooked up correctly. It's running fine, just wide open throttle my oil pressure shoots all the way up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
