Now I'm confused. After further research, it appears you are correct. But someone posted here previously that "Speedworks" was an impostor company selling knockoff RX cans made in China. Elite Engineering agreed just yesterday on this point when they quoted my post summarizing this point.

Ok so this is the thread from another forum that was posted on this site indicating that the RX brand has been hijacked by imposters selling Chinese made knock-offs under the name RX speedworks. Read the 2nd post:

http://www.silveradosierra.com/ecotec3-5-3l-v8/oil-catch-can-for-2014-ecotec3-engines-t360513-270.html

Also interesting, which I missed the first time reading through this thread, is that RX has made a deal with Elite Engineering to use their design? Elite Engineering, can you confirm?

I bought a knockoff RX can as I stated in earlier posts from September. I am catching the same amounts as others here so I am not too worried, can is holding up well after 6 months.

HOWEVER, since I am obsessed with piece-of-mindness and knowing what the inside is like, I am a fan of Elite's design of taking off the bottom portion and being able to see the interior of the can and empty it just like that so I might consider one in the near future.

Sorry, but they are not all the same company.

Is it possible to order JUST a CAN with AN fittings? Since I have the hoses in place it would mean just a simple swap out of the can.

Fondupot, EXCELLENT video and understanding!!!

I can verify that speedworks is the knock-off site. The original RX Performance website (www.RevXtreme.com is down right now as it will be redirected later.

Speedworks is just 2 ex employee's that went on their own selling cheap Chinese knock-offs from their house. They have even copied Tracy's how to videos.

Elite Engineering has the latest licensed designs for these systems designed just for GDI engines, and Scott has been in direct contact with tracy the designer at RX Performance Products, LLC.

(to verify you can email them direct: [email protected] and the RevXtreme email still works as well.

Anyone that has any questions on the correct system or any installation or technical support, etc. email direct: [email protected] and I will be happy to help.

Orders are direct through Elite Engineering and the E2-X and E2-X Ultra are the latest designs that prevent the issues GDI experience.

Cheers!

Tracy, is that you? I just saw a similar comment on my youtube video and wanted to come post it in here to clear up any confusion on the Rx product lines.

Thats the correct one fondupot!

After the speedworks copycats started selling the cheap China knock-offs (they are pressed together, the concern is they may come apart from vibration, etc.) RX stopped selling direct until they can resolve this.

But the good news is Elite has the latest design and technology with their E2-X line (just released recently).

If anyone needs technical info on GDI and just what the issues are, how to perform manual intake valve cleanings, what GM has done to address the issues, etc. let me know. Glad to share.

Ha... Gotcha. I figured if it was a knock off it was doing it's job because the valves are absolutely clean as can be. Thanks for all the info.
