You'll be alright, so long as you keep up with it. My glass catch can holds maybe 4 oz. tops, and it gets to about halfway with mostly water (in cold weather - below 40°F) after a couple weeks of local driving.

It's also affected by the distance driven each time...I get less on longer trips in cold weather as the can has time to get hot and the moisture evaporates from the emulsion.

If I do short trips, it fills up pretty quick...

That's my concern, I'm only ~4 miles from work so most of my driving consists of short trips. I'll just keep an eye on it and see how it goes

I just installed the RX cleanside separator today. Made a video showing the install. Pretty easy.

good video fondupot, I would suggest using the straight end snap fittings for the valve cover connection that you removed from the stock air tube to the cross over pipe instead of worm clamps IMO its a cleaner install but your setup will work none the less.

Wow interesting I thought they had made a new site. I was wondering why the prices were higher too. So from what I can tell:

This is the REAL RX: http://www.revxtreme.com/

And this is the knockoff: http://www.rxspeedworks.com/

So read through quite a bit of this, and think I have to add a can. I have 41k miles on mine bought it used form father in law and runs great no issues, but cant hurt to add now. That link for the REAL Rx is under construction? Is that the right link or are these unavailable now. Want to get a good can at a reasonable price. Going to skip the clean side separator for now.

http://www.rxspeedworks.com/ is the correct link but elite makes catch cans also

Post I quoted seemed to claim that as a knock off and crazy price for a catch can. Never paid that on my 4th gens or gto.

I thought someone said RXspeedworks is an imposter company using the RX design but making cans in China?

I agree I found the original "RX" by searching Rev Xtreme and I called them and spoke with Tracy direct so I know it's the right company. I'd say if you're in the market for an RX can, call them and verify how to get their can.

Do you have the number for them? With the site down I dont see that as an option.

RX performance Parts LLC. and RX Speed Works and Rev extreme are all the same co. The Director of R&D is Tracy Lewis. Check out the youtube videos that he does.
