Get an exhaust! Preferably the magnaflow catback w/ 18" muffler! It sounds great! You won't regret it

Now, I just came from muffler shop yesterday and he wouldnt install anything on my truck yet. He said with the restriction to the exhaust and 3 converters, there is almost no sound even with the magnaflow installed! He said they are working to figure out a solution to get sound out of these new trucks without compromising the factory stuuf and voiding the warranty. Anybody hear anything like this?

I highly disagree with their opinion. There are plenty of trucks here running all different muffles and cat back systems, and they all pretty much sound great even with all 3 cats intact. I'm running a corsa sport cat-back and it sounds wonderful. Nothing has drastically changed in exhaust modification in the past 20 years. So I don't see why this truck would be such a challenge, other then V4 mode.

I'm gonna check with another shop and see what kind of answer they give me. But the magnaflow setup is what I want.

I had 3rd car removed and made it into a dual exhaust. Not a true dual though.

I have the 22" Magnaflow and I like the sound. At first I felt it was a little too quiet for my taste, but now that I have some mileage on the muffler, it sounds great! Can't go wrong with Magnaflow!

Holy Jesus this truck is beautiful!! I've purchased the McGaughys 5/7 drop kit but hasven't had a chance to get it put on yet and honestly, I can't wait. The truck looks incredible!! Only 1 question though...... do you have any rubbing issues up front with those stock wheels/tires? Just want to make sure I don't go too low and have to deal with tubbing the front. Thanks dude...

 

 

Oh yeah, about debadging the truck...... anything I should know? Holes behind the emblems or is it just a simple peel 'em off and rock the "debadged" look from then on? Thanks again Holder.
