The highest I have ever got was 15.6. I am about 60/40 city though. I understand that city driving is worse, but to be 3 mpgs worse, at my best, then what city is supposed to be rated at is a joke. My last tank I was at 13.1.

My "best 25" is 21.8 "best 50" is 20.1, "best 400" 15.1. 3500 miles and my mileage gets worse every single fill up, like I said my last tank was 13.1.

I also watch my mileage the whole time (and my fmaily thinks I'm nuts and laughs at me the whole time), and drive like a Grampappy. Coast when ever I can, and drive 65 (70 mph speed limit) on hwys, 45 (55mph) on country roads most of the time. I've never drove like this and it's starting to not be worth it, I wanna ripppp!!! :driving: lol

Fellow Michigander, your MPG is only going to get worse with these cold temps and snow.

I understand that too, but if I drove this truck like I would normally drive I'd be under 10 MPG. Thats just silly.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I do like my iridium but it's not exactly the color I truly want. But it's close. And yeah black wheels on grey or charcoal paint is my favorite setup right now. Then all black is my second choice. Ford has a grey I like. I just am not much of a Ford guy. Except the raptor is sick.

I have always had all black. So I decided to switch it up and try the Iridium, pretty happy the way it turned out. My biggest complaint about these new trucks, is the damn paint is ridiculously thin!

Excellent looking truck Joel! Given thought several times to that 3.5" rough country kit. Though buddy of my brothers running his older 2011 GMC with that kit plus trail grapplers was getting horrid gas mileage.

How is yours doing?

I think my truck is on the low end of the spectrum when it comes to the 14s. I'm getting 12-15 in town stock and 18-20 highway at best. It's more like 13 city, 17 highway.

Thanks will! I am continuously adding things to it because I'm sure you and everyone else on here knows, you're never completely satisfied with how it looks you always want to do more! up here we go by litres per 100 km so im not sure exactly the fuel mileage but I can tell you it has definitely taken a significant hit

Here's my bone stock 2015 Sierra All-Terrain "before" pictures for reference. Plans are 2.5" RC kit up front, gonna leave the stock blocks in the back. I'll swap for the RC blocks if I have less than 0.5" rake or looks "nose high".

It's also getting 295/55r20 (33x11.5) Toyo AT2 Xtreme tires on stock 20's and black Bulletproof offset mud flaps. Should be done after the weekend, I'll report back with "after" pictures and measurements.

Here's a little bit of an update, got the Rough Country 2.5" kit installed up front and the 295/55r20 Toyo AT2 Extreme tires on.

Decided to leave the stock blocks in the back for now, had the shop send me a couple pics and take a few measurements.

Currently sitting at 39.5" up front and 39.75" out back from ground to center of fender.

I'll give it some time to see if it settles and if I change my mind I can easily swap the rear blocks.

Just have to get the BulletProof offset flaps on, tint the front windows and get the front bumper PPF installed.

Hutch what were your original measurements? I've been thinking about getting a 1.5" block if i don't have a half inch of rake or better.

Unfortunately I never got a chance to measure it before the work was done... and every truck seems to be a little different, especially with different cab/box configurations.

Here is the specs from a 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab Standard Bed with the full RC 2.5 kit and 305/55r20 tires:

Stock height with 275/55r20: 37" Front 38.75" Rear

Leveled+Block with 275/55r20: 39.5" Front 39.75" Rear

Leveled+Block with 305/55r20: 40.25" Front 40.5" Rear

His seem to be lower in the rear, but that could be due to the added weight of the longer box. I know the Ext Cabs tend to have more rake than a crew cab.

There's a couple members with the RC 2.5 kit and the general consensus is that on a crew cab with a stock rear block you'll be about 0.25-0.5" higher in the back.

One member with a 2" front only is sitting at 39/40, another like mine with the 2.5" front only is 39.5/40.

In theory, if I swap the rear blocks I "should" have approx. 39.5/40.75 fender measurements with 1" - 1.5" of rake.

So depending on what you want, it sounds like the supplied 2" block will be enough to give you the rake you're after... or just leave the rear blocks and only do the 2" front kit.

Here is a walk around video with up close of the level kit.

That rendition of Metallica is hilarious.

I had to turn the sound off, it was too painful to listen to.

Agreed...and I REALLY LIKE Metallica...when it IS Metallica.
