I thought I would start a positive thread. Post your likes about your 2014 Silverado or Sierra.

These are mine:

1. Super quiet! (I can hear the whispers in the back seat :))

2. Gas Mileage (I'm getting 19 with the 3.42 and 5.3)

3. Interior (more modern)

4. Bed lights ($60 option get them!)

5. flip up rear seats (super easy to lift up and lots of usable space)

6. connectivity

7. ride is nice and smooth

8. the step bumper (when I lift mine I'm glad this will be there)

9. back up camera (the border lines move when you turn the steering wheel)

10.110 outlet.

I love my 2014 Silverado LTZ! I have the custom sport and LTZ plus package along with a sunroof, navigation, bucket seats with the center console and a few other things I've added on. Really smooth ride. The Bose sound system is awesome and the heated seats and steering wheel are great here in Alaska! The new DIC is simply cool as hell. Also I like the auto dimming, power folding outside mirrors. Overall a way smoother ride that is really nice to drive and I am glad I bought one. My first fully loaded truck as usually buy the LT trim and the extra cost of an LTZ is way worth it..

Everything!!! From a 2010 to this 2014 is no comparison. It's awsome so far!

We have two 14 Silverado's. Wife has a Texas edition LTZ 4x4 and I have a LTZ Z71 4x4. We have not found one thing that we do not like about them. Both are light years away from the 2010 LTZ 4x4 that we had previously.

Ditto your list Ace. It has everything that my '11 didn't have and more including little stuff like coat hangers, 4 way flat and 7 way round trailer light plugs, "real" rear opening doors even on the Double Cab, EZ lift AND lower tail gate. And then there is the non wind slapping wipers.

Agree with everything noted above and add the following:

1) Electric assist steering

2) Interior LED's, console interior lighting

3) Bed Tie downs

4) Premium interior materials

5) Console storage and dash layout

6) Hill start assist

7) love the body design, nice view from the drivers seat

It is a complete hit with me, hands down the best truck I have ever owned. One way I judge many products is what would I tell them to change, in this case I do not have much at all that is significant. I feel they did everything within reason on this redesign. Compared to the competition they went all aluminum engine, direct injection, galvanized sheet metal, HP increase with MPG increase, fully boxed frame, and added Allison transmission features. I studied all the trucks out there and as a total package I see no comparison. I was underneath all of them and while I saw nothing horrible, the GM's looked beefy with the frame, body mounts, brackets, and design.

I agree with everything posted, if I could make one change it would be AC/heat ducts in the rear passenger area. Other than that, it's by far the best Truck I've owned or driven.

I like the little LED on the overhead counsel that illuminates the center counsel cup holders and storage, and the LED inside the center counsel too when opened

I have a SLT Crew Cab Texas Edition. 5.3 with 3.42 rear end.

Traded a 2009 Texas Edition Extended cab and this pickup is light years ahead.

All the above plus,

Love the interior color, coco/dune leather.

LED DRL's

All the cubby holes in the doors and console. Sooo much storage.

It's super quiet. I hardly notice it in the garage. My wallet hasn't even been opened once for a stop at the pump… Oh wait, never mind. It's still on the rail car.

Pretty much everything. I came from driving a car and hated it. Im glad to be back in a truck.

My #1 favorite thing about my '14 Sierra is the interior of the Cab, super quiet, really well laid out and very easy to use all the controls.

Besides that it's my first truck so not much to compare it to except friends / family members trucks i've driven. Compared to the 2011 Mazda 3 I was driving it's really nice to have a roomy interior and sit above most of the traffic on the road, plus be able to haul anything I need for around the house projects.

I like the white diamond tri coat and the 22 inch wheels on my LTZ, when I roll in the parking lot at work all the Ford guys just stare and wonder why they bought plain grey xlt's

That is the only thing that I would want that my denali does not have... that and pandora via bluetooth on the iPhone, but that is Apple's fault.

I love the customizable cluster in the denali. It's cool to see the nav there and what's playing.
