Nasty, thanks for directing me to Twisted Metal Workz!

Looks like some awesome kits there!

So with the dual adj shocks you'll need to weld the relocation mounts?

And what is the coilover in the background? I thought that might be a model of the setup, but it looks like a coilover.

On the coilover page, is the Universal kit for 4x4?

And is this their only front kit?

I know it is included with the 4 link kit, but that's the rear suspension...so same for front and rear?

It doesn't mention much about the type of control arms needed...I think I have stamped, in their pics it looks like steel (after market).

I guess I should give these guys a call when I'm ready, but I'll need to think about this first, since there is welding involved.

Does not look like reversing back to stock would be an option...just in case I decide to sell down the road.

Also need to search out a good welder...more $$$

The shock relocation comes with the 4 link if you order the 4 link. But theres an option for just the shock relocation

Got a quote from Four Wheel Parts in TX today to purchase and install Supersprings SSA28 ($300) and Belltech ($65) 2 inch lowering shackles for a total price and 3 yr warranty of $890 including 8.25% sales tax. Does this sound unrealistic in cost? He said they planned for 3 to 3.5 hours of work. They also have already verified with Super springs and Belltech that neither will have any issues with the other product or issues working with my Magneride.

I would love to do it my self just don't have tools or time to devote to perform the job properly. If someone lives around the Plano, TX (DFW) area and you have a different place you recommend please let me know. Thanks.

Rear no.  Im just talking about the front.  Rear os shackles no matter what. But 300 bucks for springs is ridiculous

You can get 3.25" of drop in the back with just shackles and removing the block. Do you even need the springs.

Front springs. Not leafs

Ah, I read springs and immediately think rear leafs. Always referred to the fronts as coils. (Unless old leaf spring 4x4's)

The item I am referring to is SuperSprings not just springs. The drop shackle kit is the Belltech 6401 and I am considering removing the block as well.

The SuperSprings basically are an add on leaf that only engages when you add weight to the rear. See the below link. They are designed to help you drop very little, if any, in the rear if hauling a trailer etc. I have 6k trailer that when I drop the back I don't want to go negative on my front being higher than the rear. I do have a wdh but I don't want any sag and this further helps sway. My question is for 3 to 3.5 hours of work is $525 reasonable on this type of project.

That sounds like they are overcharging you.  Its really up to you though.  They'll probably want to keep the truck overnight but in reality thats a half day job in the garage or driveway.  For them its probably a 2-3 hour job.  I would check out instagram and facebook for truck groups near you and get suggestions on other shops nearby.  Also that 3 year warranty is just a joke.  What are they putting a warranty on, the bolts not backing out or nuts not coming off?

More confused now! I want to drop my 2018 4WD RCSB Z71 Silverado 3" in the front. Just when I thought I had my answer with the combination of Belltech 2514   2" drop spindles combined with Belltech 25004 struts set at 1" drop, I come across the Belltech 15002 coilovers which it indicates are not only compatible with 4WD's (as there webpage does not with the spindle/strut combo) but are adjustable from a 1 to 3" drop? Why wouldn't I just go with the coilovers and set to 3" drop?  Will these move the wheel off center more than the other option???? There must be an advantage to the spindle /strut for 3" front drop? Or is there? If you went with what Belltech's webpage suggests for what I want it looks to me like the coilover is their recommendation?
