I get mine in the back with the short box. Just have to angle them a bit since the bed cover doesn't allow me to keep them straight. I don't have a picture right now. The link in my first post takes you to the insta gator option. You could use a tailgate mat. That'll be easy and gives you plenty of space with the short box.

Looks like all BakFlip covers are on sale on Amazon. The Revolver is also at $828, which is $90 less than it was last week when I almost ordered the cover. Glad I held off!

I am guessing this is a Father's Day sale.

Agreed, I just asked them (not Morrie I think Kali was on the chat), and she said 799, no tax, free shipping for the revolver (for 5'8" bed)

Finally got around to ordering a cover. I went with the Diamondback SE. It came down to his one, and the G4 Elite Fold a Cover. Some of the things I didn't like about Fold a Cover were the piano hinges. These probably work fine, but seemed a little lightweight compared to the Diamondback. One thing I liked about the G4 was also something I didn't like. The striker bolts look like the best way to latch a cover. But if you're up in your bed doing something, I could see where they could really grab a knee. Hurts just thinking about it. I also didn't really want a cover with rails. Seems like something that could be damaged when the cover was off.

One thing I like about both of them is the ability to use a caddy with them behind the cab. (I ordered the caddy with my cover). I can lock the front cover, but not have to bother with locking the back cover unless I put something else in the tailgate. One of my criteria was not having to use a key to open the cover except when I was actually using the bed for transporting something of value.

My other options were some additional tie downs & line-X black.

BTW, they have a bike carrier option according to the pictures.

Question: my wife and I have been cycling (on/off
Road) lately and instead of throwing the bikes in the bed and having them lean on eachother, what's a better route? Anyone have a bike rack that allows to mount over the tonneau cover or like a bike stand that fits in the bed? I have a crew cab with the 5ft+ bed so not exactly endless amount of room.

So these tailgate mats prevent damage from the handlebars and front wheels eh? And bike basically stays up straight during transport? Aside from losing bed space, I really like this option!!!!

Lots of guys in so cal use this option. I see as many as 5 bikes hanging over. Most of them run a strap through the frame to keep them tied down. I've never used one but it is very popular and a cheap alternative to some other options. Can't imagine people would be buying them if they damaged the truck.

The racks over the cover looks interesting too. I tow a boat and load up the boat and truck often. Wouldn't mind the option to load bed, close cover, but bikes up and tow boat! Haha

quick trick, tell them you priced it a few months ago and you were quoted 779 then. They upped it awhile back, but Morrie gave me 779 because i brought it up.

One thing I did noticed is the weather seal on the front isn't a uniform width across and doesn't make contact with the bed as a result. I have attached a picture to show what I see, just curious if others with the Revolver X2 have seen the same issue? You can see in the middle of the bed the weather seal is much shorter.

About to pull the trigger on one of these...Can you post a pic down the side of bed. Curious to see if it sits flush with top of bed rail or if it is raised.

Mine is uniform across the front, but I believe the rubber seal that is stuck on the bed header is the main thing that keeps the rain out....so you should still be good so far as the rain.

I almost wonder if this will lay down better after it's been in the sunshine a while....it looks like the seal is just not laying down properly in the middle.

It is hard to tell 100% from the pictures....if it is really shorter in the middle it's not suppose to be like that.

Not to butt in here, but I have a few I took that might help you.

It is as flush a cover as I think you will find......from the side you just about can't see it at all.

I picture this extra large so you can see the cover better.

Are you sure the side rails are not sitting too high (which would cause the cover to be too high)?

Here's a picture from Bak's website. Look at the lower left hand corner. That seal is pretty darn horizontal while yours is not.
