Well here you go. Availability says "manufactured" but it did let me add one to the cart. Price seems pretty good. Anyone know if these mount to the body or the frame?

Now someone try them out before my new truck comes in!

It seems like most (if not all) other steps for these trucks mount to the body. I can't imagine these will be any different.

I hope that's the correct price !! If you look on the Go Rhino website they are $689.00.. So getting them for the $388.00 is a sweet deal... I'm calling In the morning ASAP..!!!!

Let us know if they actually have them. I'm not a running board fan but with 3 little kids and living on gravel I really need a set. I was planning on the Dee Zee NXT but these RB10's look better, seem like they would provide better debris coverage, and not scratch up easily. If they are solid I am definitely in for a set for under $400.

Quality Bumper usually has a 15 to 20% coupon code, but not right now unfortunately. But, they are $1299 and there is a $100 rebate, free shipping, and no sales tax if you are not an AZ resident. Keep an eye on their site. I got mine from them awhile back and have sent a lot of people that way, as they usually have a 20% off code. The free shipping and no sales tax is a big saver.

Thanks man. Has anyone ordered the steps from Amazon? I see they're $1174 shipped in 2 days with Prime.

No problem. Amazon is always good with 2 day shipping but you have to pay tax. Probably comes from same warehouse.

So I called Carid about the New Go Rhino RB 10 steps.. The price listed in the website is correct.. $388.84, but the catch is the shipping... They cave me a quote if juts around 190.00 for shipping... So yeah that's pretty high.. What's really going on is they are taking the price listed in the Go Rhino website and discounting it by 20%, so yes you are getting a little bit better price... Also they told me that they are "manufactured" which means they are made to order , or at least that's what Carid told me.. So I am going to wait a little while before I buy them.. Maybe they will be offered on Amazon before to long and I can use my prime shipping...

Regarding the RB10's availability from carid site, be wary. They have no physical stock. I'm at the top of the list for a set of these and have been waiting since early December. My sales rep at Off Road Warehouse has been keeping in touch with GoRhino and they just finished manufacturing the F-250 version. GMC/Chevy version not yet available. Only ones manufactured were on the SEMA truck so far. Sucks cuz I'm nervous about the BFG KO2's flinging debris at my rockers...

I got my Raptor 6" steps on in stainless and have to say I love them.

We feel the same - that they are the best 100% STAINLESS (actual) step out there (the mounts, however, are not stainless any more) ... the others that we looked at were partial stainless and had plastic end caps. De-icer used for ~6 months of the year around here corrode badly any of the chrome plated steps and yellow where the other finishes get chipped.

The oval stainless Raptors are perfect for the weather / off roading around here ...where our older trucks with the flat boards would just fill up with ice and mud! These steps have just enough clearance to allow most debris to fall / roll off between the body and the step (caveat: not such a good idea, however, for an unattended child's small foot).

They mount inside of the tangent line between the front and rear tires ... up high enough to not compromise getting high centered on them (well above other "hangy downies" under the truck) I no longer worry about jamming up the pivot points / electrics when we have extended periods of below zero weather or take the truck where the Z71 was designed to travel. Almost all of the steps available look good on a shiny new truck parked on asphalt ... look at the trucks on the used car lots and see how the various steps look down the road.... especially after they have "wintered" a few years or seen some off road use. YMMV

Just ordered some Lund 6" straight oval side steps. I originally thought I'd go with all black, I'm typically not a fan of Chrome. However, after looking at a lot of pictures I decided to go chrome. I figured the black paint will scratch a lot easier. Plus having an LTZ with the chrome door trim I figured the chrome steps will compliment that.

I looked around and settled on Amazon where i do most of my shopping. They had the pair new for $350, plus free 2 day shipping with my prime account. Then I noticed "amazon warehouse deals" had a pair for $255 with damaged packaging and "minor cosmetic blemish on the top or side". No pictures, but to save $100 I figured I'd give them a try. I have full return option for 30 days, but hopefully it's something really minor and I save $100 on something that's basically new. Hell, i figure they'll be scuffed up sooner or later anyways.

I'll post some pics when they come in!

Hi, All.

I have a '15 Double Cab Sierra that I'm considering putting OEM 6" Rectangular boards on. I stopped in at the dealer yesterday and looked at a set installed on a truck on the lot. I was kind of surprised that a) the boards seemed to be mounted pretty close up to the cab, leaving a minimal amount of room to plant your foot on them and b) being more slippery than I would have expected (on the tread surface).

Can anyone comment on their actual usability and traction? For me, the predominant reason for having them is to be able enter the truck "backwards" and sit on the seat with my feet still outside so that I can knock off snow and dirt before swinging my legs into the truck. I personally do not need the assistance from a height perspective, but others in the family may get some value there. But, if you can't get a larger boot on them (I was wearing dress shoes last night) in the cold weather, they aren't going to be very valuable to me.

I had them on my 14' crew cab for a while. They were great boards, never slipped on them either. If you are worried about slipping you could even get the tread part bed lined to help increase traction. I did that on the running boards for my 02 and it worked like a charm.

The running boards are out on my the dealers and not at the factory right? If so then your dealer may have just put the boards higher than usual. I used my hiking boots a few times and never had an issue getting in and out with them on.

Thanks for the response.

My understanding is that these are available as a Dealer-Installed option but also come factory-installed, too. I will have to check back with my dealer to see which method of install was used for these.

You said "you could even get the tread part bed lined..." - I'm guessing you're saying to have the tread portion of the board sprayed with bed liner material? I suppose that might be an option. I guess I'm wondering how they "break in" in terms of traction. I had a set on my last truck that were OEM (Toyota). They were very functional for me, but I don't remember if they were a bit on the slippery side when new. I also installed them in warmer weather originally, so that could have factored in.
