340 for the rails and 115 for 4 steps on realtruck. Not too bad. Good find.

I have no idea what to replace mine with. I have the factory, but one is damaged. I have the chrome, but I dondon't know if i want to stay chrome or go black. I lile the wide steps like the factory, but I would like to get something unique. Opinion greatly welcomed.

Honestly, Amps are the best way to go. No need to worry about them getting damaged while driving since they tuck up under the truck. I love mine. No issues. Best thing I have put on the truck IMO and will probably always be the best thing I ever did.

The wide amp steps make it much easier to get in and out and they really do drop to the perfect distance from the truck to make it easy to get in

Get them and you won't regret it!

They kind of look like the hoops are a little forward but they're not. If you open the door they're in the right spot for the space in front of the seats. I used to have WEston 3" tube bars on my old truck and the N-fabs I have on my '14 are much sturdier and don't get dented. the horizontal bar that the hoops are welded to also seem to do a good job of protecting the rockers. They cost a little more but well worth it to me. Also as you can see I got the bed access bars which I also had on my old truck and that helps a lot when trying to get into my toolbox without having to climb in the bed (I'm only 5'9").

awesome thanks. ive got the stock chrome tubular ones, but im not really a fan of them, they were just on the truck when i picked it otherwise i wouldnt have gotten them.

hollow with no end caps, easy to fill with snow, dirt mud etc.. not the best design IMO

they're also useful when you park next to people... Especially the one that like to swing the door wide open without looking..

Do these mount to frame or rocker? And what is the difference? I've been told to get frame mounted running boards by a few people

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
