Has anyone tried the Iron Cross Patriot SS running boards? I am really liking the look and need to order some steps within the next couple days. Anyone seen them for a better price? Seems to be the lowest price/shipping I can find.

Ourdealsrock.net seem to have the best prices on Amp running boards. Does anyone have any feedback on this company? I've never heard of them.

Jut installed my AMP steps a few days ago. Do y'all hear the steps when the fold? I here a slight thud when they are fully folded up. I don't believe its hitting the body anywhere.

Yes, I hear a faint thud when they fold up.

You might want to wait on ordering Amps steps: $100 American Express Reward Card for a purchase on select PowerStep™ power running boards starting February 01, 2016 through March 31, 2016.

Where they brand new and had full warranty? I'm wondering if they are an authorized dealer from AMP.

Lund, who owns Amp Research. The rebate form will probably be on their rewards site (lirebates.com) when the rebate begins.

Can you buy replacement brackets for the 6 inch rectangular factory steps? Does anyone know if this would allow 2500 steps to work on a 1500? From the looks of it the passenger brackets are different to accommodate the diesel exhaust. Thanks

I just put the NFAB textured black nerf steps on mine. They work great and look super clean. Pic is kind of hard to see

what steps are those in your profile pic?

If you are talking about Ourdealsrock.net I don't know if they are authorized or not, but I bought from them in December when there was a similar rebate through Lund. My debit card is processed and should be mailed any day now so apparently they qualify for the rebate. I also registered my warranty online at the Amp website and didn't have any issues getting registered so I think they are authorized.

As for odr.net, they were GREAT to work with. I called them with questions before I ordered and they walked me through everything. There was even 1 part they didn't have in stock (chrome trim strip) and they honestly told me I should get it somewhere else since I would probably get it quicker. And if you have any questions about the steps just call Amp directly -- their tech support is amazing!

Yes, there is a faint thud on both extend and retract. If you look at the brackets there is a rubber bumper that the arm contacts when the step closes which is what you are hearing. The sound does not come from the boards hitting the truck (if they are adjusted correctly you should see a small gap between the steps and rocker panels when the boards are stowed).
