Brentadams646's 2014 Silverado LTZ 2WD

Recommended Posts

So far mod/changes include;

Black OEM Mesh Grille

Painted Mirror Caps and Door Handles

Debadged Chevy Bowtie on Tailgate and Texas Edition Emblems

5% Tint all around

Spray-in Bed liner

2" Mcgaughys Leveling Shackles

Removed Front Plate Bracket

I'm going to swap out rear suspension blocks with a 1/2" block to make the truck sit perfectly level, delete rear tailpipe and dump factory exhaust, and color match all chrome, f/r bumpers, grille surround, headlight trim and tailgate handle. I'll also have the wood grain trim on the interior painted when I color match the truck.

Day I got it -

Do you have a part number for those shackles? Truck looks great!!

Here are the one's I have and where I ordered from. On the silverado, the truck sits about 3/4" higher in the rear, and like I said in the OP i'll be removing the factory 1.25" block and replacing it with a .50" block to bring it down perfectly level. Another member on here posted his GMC and said his truck measured out perfectly level with 2" lowering shackles installed..

Moving to the vehicle build section

I'm confused by these new rules. Its just a post of my 2014 therefor it was posted in the 2014 section? It's not really a "build" post. There are other threads such as "where is your holster in your 2014" thread and that remains in the 2014 section? Why wouldn't that get moved to something like "general chat"? I often come to this section to find posts on 2014's and don't go anywhere else on this forum... Just curious.

I feel like only my stuff is getting moved and once its moved the thread dies! lol

First off please review the site rules especially

8. Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all
complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in
question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator
and user must send their positions to the forum admin. The forum admin
will make or change any and/or all final decisions.

11. Remember to post in the correct forum. Take your time to look at
other topics and see where your topic should go. If your topic is placed
in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator.

We dont need to derail the topic in this forum hence why the rule was created.

Also you may want to review this topic as it was created some time ago describing posting in correct sub forums and it is part of the 2014 forum.
