I installed my Gate Keeper today. When I got the top bolt pretty loose I heard a pop and found a nut on the floor. I had to remove the taillight to get the nut back onto the top bolt securing the Gate Keeper. No big deal but didn't see in wrote anywhere in the install instructions...

I normally keep my tailgate locked but for those times I forget, there's the Gate Keeper...

Installed a spare tire lock and the less than perfect 3rd brake light. I had the brake light too long before I realized all the issues so it was too late to return it. A little elbow grease and it works fine, I'd recommend waiting for a better product though and save some effort.

Installed - Right

Installed my AMP Research HD Max Bed X-Tender. Took about an hour, very simple. Would have been done faster but this damn Florida heat!

Coaster.... What brake light is that? What/who should I avoid? Final outcome looks good though. I have been looking for one of those and have found a wide range of prices. I know you get what you pay for, but often don't take my own advise.

This is the one to avoid. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Chevy-Silverado-LED-Third-Brake-Light-Smoke-Tint-3rd-Tail-Lamp-New-/281288674499? Really too much effort to install and make look decent. Hopefully someone will release one that has the back designed correctly and has a plug installed.

I took mine to a CAS match about 80 miles from my house. It makes a great gun cart!

I installed my driver side grab handle today. My dealer got me $45 and had it within a day. GM part # 23135699 Took longer to gather up the tools that the install took. :ughdance:

just 2 screws right? pop the plastic covers to access then screw in right? the original one is just clipped on right??

Correct. Just slip your fingers under the top of the cover that is there, pop down. There was a black rubber string like (thingy) that I had to pull off also from the metal part of the truck that holds in the clips. Pop new one in place and the 2 screws were lined up perfectly.

Can you take a night shot of those against a wall? Curious to see the quality of the output.
