He took a red magic marker and traced the thread with it. I believe it was a cloth marker. Do a small line and then wipe off the excess as you go. It really only works on leather though as it can be wiped off easier and not soak in where you don't want it to.

graves- I'm liking your wheels.

This happened on mine today. Nothing out of this world. They're the $200 eBay 5" nerf bar special lol they're sturdy and will definitely get the job done.

Before you attempt something like that, you better check your state laws in the vehicle code on tinting limitations.

Tinting the windshield in most, if not all states is illegal and may cause you to NOT be able to pass state inspection. I believe the tinting allowed on the front windshield is usually not to go below 4" from the top of the windshield. There is usually a little tinting from the factory at the top of the windshield. Where that ends, that is usually the limit.

When I was in high school, I had my front windshield tinted in my offroad vehicle and it sucked. Visibility was terrible, even with the sun blazing in the middle of the day. IMO, it would be extremely dangerous driving at night with the windshield tinted. It's not worth affecting your visibility and possibly hurting or killing someone out on the road because you can't see properly out of the front windshield. If you want to know what it's like at night time having the windshield tinted, try driving with sunglasses on. That will give you a pretty good idea of how difficult it would be to see after tinting.

Not legal here, but mine is done and also has the strips. I got the Lumar Air Blue and love it. You can't even tell its there. It just blocks the UV and reduces heat. If they bust you for it they have scratch at it ti fine it and are alrady in trouble. Can see perfect at night and don't even see it with polarized glasses on.

Forgive my ignorance, I'm new. Can you share the details? Where you purchased? Where you installed? Review? Thanks.

Take a look at this thread for more information, Supercharged SS is the vendor that was able to get these mirrors. If you have power folding mirrors now then these are plug and play. The power folding, turn signal, power mirror, programmable mirror, etc. will all work. They have amber clearance lights and white LED's which are new to GM and these lights have to be wired to work at this time. There are folks looking into programming the truck to have them work as well. At this time GM has not offered a reflash to make these lights work on 14's. The mirrors are an option on 2015's. I did the install myself and can provide more info or pics if you decide to do it.

Bath time today. Friday was retractable boards, paint the headlight trim, and repaint the chipped bumper.

Wow! So no problems with auto-dim or tilt on reserve functions? ... I think I might be sold should your answer be a positive one.

Are you taking orders? I think I found your eBay page and it says the passenger side is on BO?

Thanks again bro
