Where are you gentlemen who have tow mirrors getting them? I want the all black powered mirrors. I have a 2014 silverado 5.3L LT. I'd prefer to have the lights on the side but I dont have it now so no biggie. My dealer told me they cant get them and none of the ones online will fit my truck but I see a few guys on this thread have tow mirrors on their 1500s.

No pictures right now but my 14 has a 2.5" rough country lift with 285/75/17 cooper AT3s. blacked out emblems and badging. 6 inch stubby radio antenna. 20% tinted front windows. Black 4" Raptor running boards.

TODO list this summer includes black 17" wheels, adding a 1.5" Zone bodylift, swapping out my AT3s for ST MAXX 35x12.5's. tonnau cover of some sort and a drop in bed liner.

I got mine off ebay. Sellers name is fastlaneusastore and paid $224 for the power/heated tow mirrors.

Chances are your dealer thought that you were talking about the new HD mirrors. They don't work 110% properly in the 1500s without some rewiring so since it wouldn't have been 110% PNP, the dealers declare that it won't work at all

Yeah that makes sense. I'll pick up a set off ebay like everyone has reccomended.

How was the install? I bought my 07 silverado new and the dealer had it decked out in chrome everything with chrome tows already installed. So i've never installed them before. I'm assumiong it's pretty straight forward.

That's pretty funny, considering there are service bulletins talking about the mirror swap and spelling out exactly what needs to be exchanged (i.e. switch, door harness)...

Haha haven't had a flip phone since 2007 hahaha I really just chose a bad time to take the pics. That was at 1am plus I live in the country so no street likes or anything.

Search tow mirror forum and look at post #439. Has pictures that was used and I can't take credit for this. NitroDatsik is who helped me with the mirrors. Straight forward install.

Really thinking hard about some Katzkins.

Katzkins are pretty awesome... (NO... not mine, but I like 'em!)
