TeamSaris Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Got the cap installed. Ill take a better shot later. Pretty happy with it, was a decent amount cheaper than an ARE but it doesnt seem to be crap either.
tw627x Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Installed my tonneau cover, and it was 5 degrees in my garage. Blacked out my emblems. Today will be black bed rails. I'll post pics tonight
K2jer Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Installed 4" Pro Comp Lift (Chose this lift because it will not void truck warranty and can be put back to factory suspension if I want), Westin HD Side Steps, Tow Mirrors - can view in my album named 17" Rock Star Rims -12 offset. http://s300.photobucket.com/user/philwhall/library/Rockstar%20Rims Do you have the part number for this lift?
Cajun Phil Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) Do you have the part number for this lift? The Pro Comp part number for my lift is K1156B Here is link to the one I had installed: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lift-Kits-Suspensions-Shocks/4-Inch-Lift-Kit-with-ES9000-Shocks.aspx?t_c=1&t_s=38&t_pt=3533&t_pn=EXPK1156B#reviews_Container Edited February 25, 2015 by Cajun Phil
lockey14s Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 installed rough country 3.5 lift in the front with upper control arms. rear currently has 1" block that i had with the RC 2.5 kit. rides stiff but i dont mind, makes it feel more like a truck. planning on putting in the 1.75" block in which will bring it .25 higher than the front, which is perfect IMO. Also removed all the emblems, going for a clean look on this truck. Zone 1.5" body is next on the list to do, along with 305/55 terra grapplers and 1.5" wheel adapters.

I've read many bad things online about the RC 3.5 kit. Just keep an eye on everything

Just keep an eye on everything Yea I have too, but its the right amount of lift i want right now and a lot less invasive for the installation. down the road i will put a full 4.5" or 5" kit on it.

What brand UCAs did you go with?
Gmcant33 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Installed my new sill plates! That looks awesome question how much were ? Do u have the part #? And do they make rear door sills for double cab ?
Vmax08 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Gmcant33 Thanks for the complement. Paid 105.00 off E-Bay. There 's a set for 113.99 w/free shipping. They're 125.00 at the dealer. Black P/N 23114162 Coco / Dune P/N 23114161 Don't see rear sills listed even for crew cab. I don't think they make them for crew or double cabs.
Rewillia Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 GM/GMC does (make them) for the Denali CC. Front sill plates include Denali while rear are simple stamped/stripe matching embossed metal for rear doors.
Ryans14ThungstunZ71 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Actually, all the BDS dealers i've spoken to have said $700 for installation. I just has a 6inch BDS lift kit installed. Dealer sold me lift with upgraded Fox 2.0 shocks for just about 1900 and install was about 700. All depends where you go and if they will work with you.
tw627x Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Installed blacked out bed rails today. Totally helps the back end of the truck pop. I think it is what it was lacking. Also got the torque app and obd plugin. Now to see what that can all do.
