What have you done to your K2 today?

I didnt drive the truck out and get a good shot of the beam pattern, but you can already see it is awesome!

Here it shows that they pretty much match the DDM 5000k just fine

My old LED fogs are just garbage, simple measurement to compare, it is totally off!

I am so excited to drive them in the dark now!

Picked up my newly dipped carbon fiber interior trim. Yeah it looks like freaking checkers! Pissed off right now.

From a very nice special someone! Mike1220!! One of the ballast died right away though, so I bought another ballast locally, and it is working fine ever since.

Where did you get your fog lights from?

I would like to add that I did not send him the HIDs that I had in my truck when they went out. When I originally purchased my HIDs, I purchased 2 complete sets (2 harnesses and 2 55W HIDs and ballasts) and of course about 3-4 weeks after I sent Morris my spare kit, the one in my truck started to give me trouble.

I'll add that I did not send him the HIDs that I had in my truck when they went out. When I originally purchased my HIDs, I purchased 2 complete sets (2 harnesses and 2 55W HIDs and ballasts) and of course about 3-4 weeks after I sent Morris my spare kit, the one in my truck started to give me trouble.

He sent me a working set, here is the history of the set's performance:

Upon first install with relay, it works every now and then, most of the time during drives, it flickers.

Fixed flicker by following another user on this forum by adding a 16v 4700uF capacitor in the relay harness inline

Shortly after, maybe a day, one of the ballast failed, so I was running my hylux 35w ballasts that did not require any relay harness

Found a local shop that sells 55w ballasts off the shelf, replaced it, working ever since!

Even though they are 2 completely different make ballasts, the new one I bought was a lot smaller than the DDM one, they seem to have the same output and the same warm up time

Swapped out my chrome grille for a color matched one, and also changed out the bow tie with a black and chrome one. I like the look with the white/black grille so much better.

The chrome grille is for sell...$175.00+shipping

I love the color match. Mines on the way. Thinking about doing the head light bezels too. Did you think about that at all? Looks good btw

Thanks and Yeah that's in my todo list , I am going to do the headlight trim white as well as the chrome bumpers front and rear.. Just waiting till I get some more money ...

Any tips on removing those rear pieces...I tried but they did not seem to give way...I was afraid of breaking them.

not trying to steal his answer but if they are like the crew cab pieces, you just got to pull straight away from the door. I pulled mine off to paint them and I had to pull pretty hard. More than I wanted to as I thought for sure something was gonna break

I got mine from a member on here that was selling it... But try looking at shopchevyparts.com, they have the color matched grilles for $245.99... That's where I was going to order mine from, but found one here instead..
