They look exactly like the same running boards I saw on a Ford Raptor the other day. They probably are the same ones. The design is a good idea because you have to water/ mud run off going towards the rear of the truck. Plus it looks slick

I bought mine from CARiD and my estimated ship date is this Wednesday. When I spoke with them in chat I was told they had two in stock for the K2XX double cabs.

sweet.. Hope there ship date and stock is correct.. My ship date with carid changed 3 different times before I canceled my order ... You'll love them by the way

If the ship date starts changing hell is going to be raised. The whole reason I ordered from them is they assured me it was in stock. And yeah I'm excited to get them installed. Edited by crafferty

No harness was used, I made my own wires from some local store that specialize in different gauge wires. I have used 4AWG, probably over kill but it is working just fine.

I connected directly to the empty bolt of the 4 bolts underneath the black cover on the factory cover, ground just to the body

Battery is not from GM, it is a north american made one over the ADDelco chinese crap. I have just asked for just a battery made for my truck and try and get the CCA as close to 755 as possible.

You need a battery hold down piece from the dealer, if they dont have the bolt, it is an M8 50mm long bolt, get a plated one so it will last longer

55 watts. And about $200. A lot more than i was planning on spending but I got to the point with being so frustrated with my LEDs that weren't working that I was able to justify the price. The salesman said its the best kit he sells and I'm just glad they work and look good.

Where did you find online how to install these? I looked and looked, but was quite unsuccessful. From what I can tell, it's not just plug and play, you sometimes have to cut your head light out a bit. If you can point me in some sort of direction that would be awesome.

Any reason in particular you added the battery? I was thinking of doing the same because I thought that it might help with cold starts, but I wasn't sure.

Mine were full plug and play. I did have to drill a hole in the dust caps to fish the wires through, but the rubber seals in the light kit sealed the holes real well and you can't even tell there's a hole. Let me know if you have any other questions tho. It wasn't too bad.

I just want the peace of mind that mine will less likely to run out of power if I run the stereo for too long lol.

So you didnt need ANY relay harness that goes to the battery!!?? what about capacitors? If this is the case, this is the first kit I have seen that is 55w that does not need power from battery and works with PWM!

well it finally stopped flooding here in DFW TX so I actually cleaned it up since installing lift and tires.

had to rearrange my garage so the truck would fit also...

few poser shots.

I didn't have anything go to the battery. I just plugged the lights together, put them in the headlight housing, drilled a hole in the dust cap, fished the wires through, mounted the ballasts, and put everything back together. And I'm pretty certain they're 55w.

No flickering? Any picture of the ballasts? I'd love to see who makes these. I am almost certain it is hylux or philips

No flickering yet at least. I'll try and get a picture of the drivers side ballast tomorrow. It's a lot easier to get to. I don't know a whole lot about HID kits but the salesman said it was the Ferrari of the HID kit world so I just took his word for it.
