If you notice I made sure you saw to get red. Blue is to stop fasteners from walking out, but you're still able to break the blue thread locker if you need too which it most. With red they would probably need an impact driver to get the bolts out.

It's just sad that they'd steal those little cheap bolts. Honestly if you're going to take the time to do it then steal the actual rims lol. But, it makes me think of a piece that I think someone could have stolen off my truck. If you look at the windshield wiper arms, the little cover that covers the mounting but to mount the arm to the shaft was missing on one of them. I don't remember it flying off because it's a big enough piece where I would have seen it. So either someone stole it or it was missing from the truck for God knows how long. Luckily it was just a $5 cover and snapped right on.

Haha I was just kidding! I've got all 80 bolts sitting in some dawn dish soap right now. Then tomorrow I'll paint them.

On another note I dropped the truck off at the Line-X dealer. She'll be getting sprayed with black Line-X Premium this week. May look rough in the pictures but the lines are spot on for the most part. After Line-X you'll be hard pressed to tell anything was ever wrong.

Apologies if it's been discussed but I hate trying to find exactly where it was talked about but what's the situation here? Truck looks really good but were you in an accident or something?

Out with the old and in with the new about 6 months ago.

How are you liking the Duramax compared to the 1500? Power? Ride?

Did you have the 5.3L or 6.2L before?

I love my truck but the next one will be a Duramax!

Will it have a salvage title from that damage?

Fantastic! Only thing I've done to them is tighten them down after a few hundred miles. But this is called for in the instructions anyways so no news there. The coating has not faded nor has it chipped or peeled. The step it's self is just as sturdy and rigid as day one. I am extremely pleased with them. I also have the first generation of the steps so I don't have the stupid badges on the side. Another reason why I like them even more.

Installed some new shoes! Fuel Maverick 20 x 9 +1 offset with Nitro Ridge Grappler 33 x 12.50. 2" level up front. The only thing I had to do was zip tie the carpet back an inch or so. No rub or trim. Really like the stance and look. The tires ride slightly rougher on smooth pavement than the stock Goodyears, but noticeably smoother on rough pavement. I guess the larger diameter and sidewall help with rough pavement and the 10 ply contributes to the slightly rougher ride on smooth pavement. Very slight hum, but not bad at all. A little more floaty feeling in corners at 40 mph or more, but again not bad. So far I'm extremely happy with the purchase. Thanks to Custom Offsets for a great purchase experience and a member on here (Robinson) for giving me their first hand knowledge with this combo.

    • So you're saying toss the baby out with the bathwater? @txab posted article was her take on how AI can be used to manipulate pricing as it already does and has been rebuked by the judiciasry in housing. How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.
    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
