i toyed with the idea of putting a aftermarket one in a couple yrs ago but the plan just faded away...much like my lift kit sitting in the box still..

 

Ordered from my dealer for 56 bucks. I'll get part# when I get my truck back Thursday. They are Discontinued item from GM. Only a few dealers in the country have them.

There are a few used one on Fleabay "Ebay" LOL that sell it for 60 bucks.

Installed the Banks Ram Air yesterday. This thing is LOUD

 

 

When you say "this thing is LOUD"... do you mean from under the hood or it makes your exhaust louder?

What was the deal with the engine codes?

 

Cylinder 2 misfire and Injectors need to be replace. Speed sensor code is also related to the misfire code. They give me a rental for a few days.

When you say "this thing is LOUD"... do you mean from under the hood or it makes your exhaust louder?

 

It's hard to tell if it made the exhaust any louder because of how loud it is under the hood

Finally got my grille in [emoji1417]

Now to figure how to delete the z71 logo [emoji52]

Picked her up from Line-X today and it came out great! Looks like new again! Here are some quick pictures I took before I begin reassembling her over the next couple days.

 

Grille with Anthracite Gray accents that will be featured throughout the truck.

Now to figure how to delete the z71 logo [emoji52]

I hate the grille emblems, it was nice to learn it's just a simple double push tab.

Sadly even if I take the emblem off there's going to be blank plastic backing still on the grill since its part of the mold, since I don't have a z71 I don't want to have that emblem on

I might end up dipping the whole emblem for the time being until I figure out how to delete it completely w/out ruining the grill.

I'll be a fake z71 for the time being ?
