I personally just didn't want any questions about or issues with my warranty.

I did it the Chevy CAI for the same reason. I am happy with it.

same one i have.. i love it.. .for some reason mine didn't originally come with one.. which i believe it should of.. but found that one on amazon and couldn't be happier!

Sound is good! Not too loud but loud enough that its will get your attention.

Plugged the frame holes.

Where did you get those lugs? Both places I stopped at said their lugs wont fit on OEM wheels. I am looking at some replicas and they said the 60 degree M14 lugs will not work

Nice, I'm thinking about getting one for mine, I already have a kanN cold air intake but it's not enough pop.

 

Did you install it yourself?

Yup, jacked it up then used jack stands. Cut the stock exhaust in half and got that out of the way and started at the rear and moved forward. Didn't really take that long at all. I fixed all the minor leaks today with some muffler cement for a quick fix. I may or may not get it welded when my bro gets back into town.

My buddy got a exhaust done and the dealer voided his warranty for it. So I want to stay away from any of that (mostly because they fished me in for warranty for 6 years)

 

I'm personally no expert on exhausts by any means.

The warranty isn't black and white like that, the dealer can't just void it, unless your talking about one of those add on deals. But an exhaust has absolutely no negative effects if the cats are left intact. Its like switching from highway to mud tires, but keeping them the stock size as to not change any final drive ratios
