This is my first post and I want to start off by saying thanks. I lurked this forum for a year before I finally decided what truck I wanted to buy. I practically read everyone's reviews and looked at every amazing pic y'all posted. I went with the 5.3 with the street package.

 

Now onto what I did today. I polished with a DA buffer and Jescar finishing compound, then I applied an aircraft sealant called Cilajet

I had a good chuckle at the picture of the truck and airplane with the number on the tail fin blanked out. Most people blank out their license plate but this is a whole new level

It is funny. I just didn't want to risk making someone mad since most private jet owners like to keep things private. Especially since it's easy to track a planes movement with certain apps or even just googling a tail number

Waiting to get my truck back today. Dropped it off yesterday for an oil change, and the alignment re-done (been off since they replaced motor mounts). They also got my new headlight in, but needed to keep it over night to let the paint on the bezel dry before installing it. Every time I drive a loaner it makes me really appreciate my 6.2 and ltz plus package. [emoji23]

I installed the driver assist handle in mine. Took me 10 minutes only because I had to go get the wrench and check the forums to see what people did with the retention clip. Should take all of 5 minutes normally.

Can't find the post, but someone wanted pictures of the ProClip holder without the phone inserted. Hopefully they look ok, my camera on my iPhone is one that is plagued with the shaky camera syndrome.
