Looks good.  I like the non-slamming tailgate feature and I'm surprised this wasn't standard on all 14+ models.

I remember when my father’s tailgate slammed you’d hear the rust (damn fords)

The soft-close tailgate is one of those stupid, unnecessary features that I could now not live without.  I mean, I'd been driving trucks without that feature for a good 30 years without that . . .

They really stripped the customs to get the price down. No Tailgate assist, one piece rear seat, no back up camera, etc. But for the intended consumer group I think it’s a great idea and puts people in these trucks that might not have looked at GM otherwise.

sounds about right. I dont have fog lights, i didnt have the drivers side door assist handle until i bought one. But being a 21 year old, it got me a much newer truck compared to buying like a 14 LT.

Removed the final lower bumper piece. Cut some of the brackets off and flipped the bolts around so they aren't sticking down. Didn't have time to cut off those ridiculous frame horns, so that is on the back burner for the time being.  Next up skid plates!

Is your truck leveled? Do the work you did kinda gave it a cool pre-runner look.
