Flipped my rear Fox 2.0 shocks over because...well, it just looks better with body up/shaft down and everyone told me they were upside-down before!  The instructions clearly state they can mount in either orientation, but they do look better this way and there is less unsprung weight.

Also, I touched up some spots in the frame wax with Nox-Rust while under there.

Fox 2.5 DSC coilovers will be here Tuesday.  I'm sure those will be a treat to install, but I'm hoping it isn't too bad.

Yesterday I installed the Belltech lowering shackles to lower the rear end a total of 2". Filled up the wheel well nice with the Chevy 22's. Today. I was in the market for a Quick Detailer and after much reading, I went with the Griot's Garage Best of Show detailer. Bottle claimed it could be used in direct sunlight but I found it hard to remove. Switched to a shade spot and was much happier. Added depth to the tintcoat and looked great.

Hi and thanks for the info in one of your other writeups about leaf spring creak/noise.  I have that on one side of my 2016 Sierra 2WD RCSB and was wondering if you had that creak before you may any modifications to your suspension or if it was that way from the factory.  Was the noise on both sides or just one?  How did you get rid of the sound?  I put in the Belltech shackles about 1.5 years ago and then removed them because I decided to lift the front to level my truck.  I just cant remember if the leaf spring creaking sound was from the factory or after I did the shackles.  I plan to loosen the leave spring bolts with the truck on the ground and retighten them to see if that will get rid of the sound.  Thanks

Been awhile since posting, I packed up everything and moved across the country. My 15 did great pulling the trailer. Once unloaded washed, clay bar, and waxed. Then it rained. Oh well. That’s why no pics...

Installed RGB+W footwell lighting. LEDs are on full brightness for the photo. I turn them down to the dimmest setting for a more 'factory' look. Also under the driver and passenger front seats for the rear footwells (not pictured)

I didn't install it all today but it's pretty recent...

5100s at stock height with my 2.25" readylift level.
New Kryptonite ball joints for my cognito UCAs. (I bought the UCAs used so I'm not sure how much abuse the cognito ball joints took but the drivers side was popping and had a lot of play)
Removed my factory Bose center console sub and replaced it with ebay 8" kicker comp R sub/box combo.
Removed my 10" passenger side sub/box and reinstalled my under seat storage.

When you foam your truck, do you rinse of the foam before scrubbing with a sponge or do you just go at it while the foam is on?

I rinse off my truck first then foam it and scrub while my truck is all foamed.

Reason i asked is cuz some people swear by the two bucket method. I see no point in rinsing off the foam and using two buckets after. It's just wasteful and more time consuming.
