Well I've had the 2 piece driveline for a couple months now. But finally was able to install it with help from friends. Honestly never having messed with a driveline before I would not have been able to do it by myself.

We ended up pulling the trans shim that was required for the 1 piece factory drive shaft for the drop kit to get our angle correct. After figuring that out it went smooth and easy. Drive shaft came from performance drive shafts out of Bakersfield ca. It came with a bolt in crossmember. Spicer u-joints and was like 690 bucks shipped to my front door.

I did get a before photo that showed scaring on the driveshaft. But once we got going I forgot to get pics. Anyways I got a couple horrible photos later on. (Cant upload do to size) sorry not computer savvy enough to resize

Next weekend is tubs, shock mounts, monster notches and dropping her more. I'll keep u guys/gals posted

Ditch lights arrived today and just finished installing them.  Lights were 26$ for the pair and the brackets I snagged for 12$

Lights were advertised as 20W each, measured them pulling 14.1W that like all other LEDs I've tested stays constant power sweeping voltage from 11V to 14.8V Due to constant current drivers used.  Seems to be pretty common with LED bars that they advertise the max W of the chipset used and not the actual power.

I was originally torn on if I should mount them on the sides or the back of the hood, but just decided to go with them mounted on the back side.  I took some compairison pics of both so may as well post them.

Do you have a need for so many lights ? Or do just want them? I get curious as to why people want a crap load of light bars and light pods on their trucks. Im also being serious im not trying to be an ass

I wasn't a fan of the button that came with my light bar so I finally found one I liked and installed it in the dash.04f1a92c7c1982f9493f96000e24e364.jpg52c96fba7f60f4d3e722664fec1b5c13.jpg

Credit cards or business cards fit great there. It's what you get if you don't have the electronic 4wd I believe. The upper cubbie is where the integrated brake controller would be. I have the 4wd shifter on the floor in my truck.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

In the floor? That was an option? Mines in the left where the light controls are and where my brake controller is at

Thank you! I wanted something that looked more like it belonged there, I think it fits the bill.

Sure was. I have the manual transfer case with an old school lever on the floor to engage the 4wd.

Yeah, mine has it because it's a lower trim level but I don't mind it honestly.

Looking for advice. I've been thinking for a while about painting my tow hooks, engine cover, and other small pieces on my truck. I cant decide what I want the accent color to be. I'm torn between - lime green, light blue, orange, red, or royal blue.

Any thoughts? My truck is silver ice blacked out

I vote for orange I think that would be sharp against the silver and the black. Seen a pic on here the other day of the coil pack covers (or whatever GM calls them now) done in orange and I thought d@mn that looks good. My 015 is summit white with black wheels and I did red for my accent color (tow hooks, badging, ect) as I think it pops against the white that would be my second choice for the silver.
