Where is the

I've had the GMC1500 SLE for a few days now and I can't find the heated mirrors switch...

 

Do I have heated mirrors and if I do... where is the switch to turn them on?

 

Im thinkin... Ram is way ahead in the design department for practical usage.

Don't know about yours but Silverado heated mirrors are active when the rear window defroster is turned on.

It comes on with the rear defrost

I think the butane lighter is in the glove box.

since at least 1999 heated mirrors come on with rear window defrost.

Do trucks not come with owners manuals anymore?

 

I know I take it to am extreme- when I cross shop vehicles I download and read the manuals to uncover little things that might sway my opinion of one vehicle over another but at least read the one for what you end up buying.

First thing I do is download a copy of owners manual when I buy something. Got a copy of my trucks manual at home and on my work computer. I do the same thing, download manuals when I'm shopping for something.

i had a brand new Venture van go thru the service drive ,work order ,the whole thing for the complaint "interior light will not shut off "

 

i brought it in and pushed on the lens and it clicked off ,,,,,,

 

i then went to the new car manager and was alittle wild and asked if ''why dont your )*&^%%$%^& salesman go thru the features of the sold vehs "????

 

he said "Rob ,,,they just want to get in and drive it ",,,,,

 

i walked away lol,,,,,, .3 hr for that one ,lol

 

owners manual is a good read ,,,to bad no one does lol
