Those with Pandora issue

I was not able to find another thread that went over the info I have, so I'll start it here and let the moderators move it if they want to.

Since i got my truck and connected my Droid S2 i have had problems with keeping Pandora connected. It would play 1 song and either take 30 seconds or longer to go to the next song or it would come up with a network error message. If the phone was unlocked (I have a pass code on my phone) it worked with no problem. If the phone was locked and screen off it would fail after every song. Very frustrating!! I looked on here and found advice to unpair it and reconnect it and other suggestions which didn't work. Today I figured it out. I had the background data restricted on Pandora (like most of my apps) and when the phone would lock, it would shut off the data. This disconnected Pandora but the phone still worked through the Bluetooth. If anyone else is having this issue try that and hopefully this was your problem as well.

Droid S2? Samsung Galaxy S2? Check to see if your app is updated on your phone. I know on the older versions of Pandora you had to change a setting to allow the music to continue to play after phone sleeps or screen turns off. Check the settings on the Pandora app within the phone. You can also uninstall the app and then reinstall to see if that corrects the problem.
