I guess we will see. I ordered one from shop chevy parts and they said it is for the drivers side. $47.23 delivered. I will let everyone know when it arrives with some photos.:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Dont think so, If you look at your mirror images, the grab handle would face the windshield and be backward. The photo I show, the handle does face back and would fit the drivers side.

Look again.... My point was this is possibly a case where the passenger side image was inadvertently mirrored, resulting in the pic you found. I'm not saying either way for certain.. just a possibility.

Looking at chevy truck web sight, It seems that even the 1wt option or all trucks come with a passenger assist handle from the factory. There would be no need for an accessoriy handle for the pass side.

Oh ok cool. I know some online images showed the Sierra without, that's why i thought it might be a passenger add on.

Adding more positive to your purchase, I popped my driver's A-pillar and the two handle bolt holes are there:

I thought the same as you guys. Why offer it as an 'accessory' for the passenger side when it's standard on every model? Look forward to seeing your pictures SAMS819K2XX.

My 2014 SLT has it. Maybe it is standard on the SLT model.

I am pretty sure mine has it as well. I'll check tomorrow.

This is a factory option that is $85.00 on a Canadian truck. I ordered it. It showed up at the dealership two weeks after I got my truck. So it is available. I haven't been back to get it yet but will be in about two weeks.

It is not standard on any model.

between the steering wheel and handle on the headliner, do people really need a 3rd handle?! lol maybe it's because I'm new to a general truck forum, but man people on this site make the biggest deals about the smallest things! lol next thing you'll need is a step up to your running boards then you'll need a handle so that you can grab your newly added handle!! Like stairs for your truck!!!!

Steering wheel is not a handle! Its very bad to use it as a handle. Check out any lifted truck and see how sloppy/loose the steering wheel is

I used the steering wheel exclusively in my 96 Z71 for 10 years without any slop in the steering. You're probably experiencing issues cause by the lift and larger tires.

That being said, I do think the handle would be nice to have. WTF isn't this standard equipment?

It's a big deal to me because I would use it. For me, trying to use a handle on the interior roof, that I can't see from the outside, is a bit awkward.

Call me crazy, but I don't think it should take being a long-time forum member to understand that different people like different things, and sometimes it's the little things that people enjoy most about their vehicles.

I'm not knocking on peoples likes and dislikes, I just found it humorous reading some of these posts, about handles, or should I or should I not lock my tailgate everytime, that one is like 6 pages long lol
