I towed my 5000lb travel trailer in the first 200 miles,just took it easy.I needed to go on a late season hunt last fall and couldn't wait for more miles.Did not seem too harm anything.

It's a crew cab, 4WD, standard bed, SLT, Texas SLT value crew cab package, 6.2L engine, heavy duty trailering package w/3.73 gears, GMC preferred package, driver alert package, bucket seats, nav package, and a few other minor add on items thrown in. I think that's about it. It should be a very comfortable ride for those long trips!

No, the tow mirrors are not a part of the package. They have to be added seperately

This has got to be the quickest trim of all the GM trucks and probably the quickest 1/2 ton pickup on the market period.

Don't forget about the Double Cab 2wd 6.2L 3.73 Max. It should be a couple hundred pounds lighter and less drivetrain friction. (got one on order )

I went to the dealer this afternoon to see my new truck and sign the paperwork. I even took it out for a little spin. Man, I love my truck! They will install the dealer items tomorrow morning and they say it will be ready in the afternoon. Can't wait to bring it home tomorrow! I'll post pictures when I get home.

Must be nice being this close! Kinda all nervous like bringing your firstborn home from the hospital. Except in my case I just ordered. So it's kinda like the wife pregnant at 7 months or so. Except without the binge eating. Oddly, still with all the complaining.

 

On second thought, the binge eating is still there too. Come to think of it, it's pretty close to the same thing.

I have to agree, the 6.2 trucks will flat out get after it. I will sometimes turn of the T/C and hit it from a 20mph roll getting on the highway and it will chirp the tires on the downshift and pulls hard thru the gears.

i found a double cab with 6.2 and max trailer package goin to look at it tomorow...if i like try to get out of my current lease a 2014 5.3 for a real truck..ll
