your truck looks great. i have the silver gmc double cab and was looking to go with black emblems as well

Thanks! The chrome was too much for me especially on the silver trucks.

Easier to just take the emblem off.

Tailgate too, just stuck on with adhesive

Looks great. I pulled my front logo off today and it was a pain with my gorilla arms. I had the most trouble with the outer top 2.

i brought my truck into the tint shop to get vinyl done and was devastated when they pulled it in and said they couldn't vinyl the emblems on the 14 due to the rigidness. Im too nervous to paint them myself.

I just had vinyl put on the front and back bowties and also did the LTZ letters in the front grill.... looks nice!

Time to find a new shop. I got both my front and back emblems done with vinyl and they look great. Also a local dealership here in Houston has the vinyl done on all the trucks on the lot and all look good. jy6y5eju.jpg

Are those hid lights?

Yes they are 6k from DDM tuning

6k seems a bit expensive for headlights.

Sarcasm?? Can't tell cause it seems so serious with no expression behind it haha

He's talking about the Kelvin temperature color rating lol

I want to do that and im not to savvy with that kind of stuff...

It's really not that bad. Just make sure you have plenty of time set aside just in case you have to do some troubleshooting..

Dipped my honeycomb and bowtie

Before

After

That looks really good. How is it holding up? Did you remove the honeycomb grill?

I did remove the honeycomb and grill to do this but it can be done on the truck. just wedge a plastic bag cut open behind the mesh to protect the radiator and spray away. Its best to apply 2-3 light coats then I go heavy for 2 coats letting dry for 30 min each. The dip will protect your truck better than clear bra as far as im concerned.
