So who wants to test shifting into reverse while driving? ;)

did it on my 2005 on accident and the truck shut off and the trans just went to neutral lol.

This mod would be nice to check out hotties in a car behind you at a light... lol

I guess... if they are laying on the ground behind your truck... in that case, shouldn't you get out and help?

The wife and I just picked up new trucks, mine a 19 LD and hers a 19 Colorado.  On the Colorado you can activate the camera while driving.  There's an icon on the display, just tap it and viola, you can see behind while you're driving.  The dealer told me on my LD that I could do the same thing but there's no camera icon on the display like there is on the Colorado, and so far haven't been able to figure out how to make it work.  You'd think if the Colorado does it then the Silverado would as well?  I too would like to view behind while towing as an example and you'd think this would be a standard thing.  I read online that there may be a setting in the 'driver assist' settings to use the backup camera while driving forward.  I'll do some additional investigating and see what I come up with.

Yes, you sure can!

You can send your HMI off to WAMS (www.WhiteAutoandMedia.com) to get Unlocked.

Then, pickup my Reverse Camera Adapter Harness here.

Here is a video I put together for this.

I wish I could figure out a switch mod for this myself. Reason us I live in boonies and sometimes I reverse into garage and super dark outside, the camera blinds me and makes it hard for me to see my mirrors. You never want to completely be relying on camera to reverse vehicles. I am a retired 18wheeler driver. Mirrors are my best friends.

That’s how you can supposedly do it in a Tacoma.  I always thought that it was someone trying to get someone else to drop their transmission in the middle of the highway.

There’s a mod already to dim the screen even further.  I’m doing that mod on my truck this weekend, since I received my de-pining tools Monday.

No kidding? Is there a thread on here that explains this in detail?
