Man, again, that setup looks sooo good. You really sold me on the 275/70's. I'm looking to go with the same NV's but was gonna go with a 285/65 (~32.5"), the 275/70's look so much better though. I really wish they sold lug nuts the same color as the faux bead bolts on the nv. Zinc plated lug nuts would look tits with those wheels.

Yea, I am going to start the hunt to find some or just go black. But The contrast of the 3 different colors is pretty good looking to. I to almost went with the 285. But decided to go for it. the pictures don't do it justice. It makes a statement.

I recommend you see 275s in person before you shell out $1000 for them. It's a tall tire but not very wide. The 285s lacks .5" in height, but looks much beefier in width. You will notice the width of the 285/65 long before you will notice it's .5" shorter than the 275/70.

I have looked through this entire thread and am still kind of torn.

I would like to stick with 305-55-20XL Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires because they give me the size I am looking for without being 10ply becuase I do not need that heavy duty of a tire and the extra weight.

The wheels I want only come in +6 offset. I have been trying to look at +0 offset with the 305's to get a good idea of how far they stick out since it is relatively close.

I would like them to just barely stick out. I have a 2" level, but will add the extra spacer to make it 2.5" if need be. Ideally I would be at about a +14-+18 offset, but like I said, the wheels I prefer only come in +6.

Does anybody have a down the side shot or pics with this set up of a 0 offset with 305-55-20's or +18 with the same size tire?

Thanks in advance for your help!

heres mine. RC 2.5 with 1.5 zone body lift. 305 55 20 nitto g2 with 0 offset. Had to add body lift because it was rubbing inner carpet and I wanted no rub.

Thank you sir, greatly appreciate it! The spacers certainly help a lot - great looking truck! I had the same tires as you on my truck (and sle wheels) and now have 275-60-20 Toyo Open Countrys. They are a little skinny for my liking so I am going to get a new wheel and tire package and sell what I currently have.

The 2 wheels I am looking at only come in 0mm and +6mm offset. I am torn on which one to go with (6mm is barely any difference than 0, just trying to pick a style at this point) and then the big decision is tires.

295-55-20 Toyo Open County AT2 - 60lbs (10-ply)

305-55-20XL Nitto Terra Grappler G2 - 51lbs (4-ply)

Due to the low offset id like to get the 295's since they're narrower but 10lbs a corner and being 10ply vs 4ply has me steering towards the Nittos, I just don't want them to stick out too far past the fenders.

Ahh, decisions decisions!

if u want no rub go with 295 on the 2.5 level kit. 305 will rub a little on 2.5 level

I totally agree. But he will notice the price of the 285s being way more before anything else. At least I will, which is why I'm going 275/70

Thanks for your input, I checked BFGoodrich's website and the 275/70R18 is actually .7" taller than the 286/65R18. That is quite a bit, although you are right, the 275 does have a track width of 11' on an 8" wheel compared to the 285 of 11.5" on a 8.5" wheel.

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-selector/category/off-road-tires/all-terrain-t-a-ko2/tire-details#techspecs

I still think the 275/70r18 is the way to go though. I've seen Higgs Boson's truck and his setup is similars to RvNikkor's except he's on the 285. Its not that much of a difference but the 275/70 does look taller and the width is just fine for me, after all the O.E Goodyears on the 20" wheels are already 11" wide

Some pictures for comparisons sake;

Again, not a crazy difference, both setups look great. Just a matter of personal choice. And unfortunately the Toyo AT2 does not come in the Extreme version for the 275/70, so the tire will look allot more tame, with less thread depth, and less aggressive side wall than the 285/65.

That white truck looks awesome with the 285s....big visual difference! Where is that one originally posted?
